The "GaMetal" album songs continue this week, hopefully as soon as TOMORROW! :o I'm sure you've noticed some changes to the video (camera movement, changed drum/keyboard angle, background colors, etc) since the Contra vid, it's still a bit of a work in progress so I may be trying different things out here and there throughout the month. You may have also noticed I made a new thing for gameplay footage that isn't in 16:9 format, so no more of that weird stretched footage stuff!
Still looks good to me! Your movements and expressions look so energetic, like you're having such a blast with it all. You are, right? Best be, because this is some good shit. Also, HEY, it's me, haven't seen me in a long time, huh? Don't worry, I haven't missed an upload yet. XD
Finally. After decades and decades of begging, he’s finally covered my most favorite JRPGs of all time. Thank you so much! This is your best work thus far
Awesome cover, and not just of Type A but also Type B! I remember hearing Type B in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and I fell in love with it immediately. Also, "I am the man who arranges the blocks that descend upon me from up above. They come down, and I spin them around 'til they fit in the ground like hand in glove."
No matter how many times I hear this theme, it's still amazing. Also, this is a song that I never even considered making a metal remix of. Have to say it's far beyond what I would have thought it to be. Awesome job!
Tetris deserves to join Smash as a Stage, not as a Fighter. It needs a Stage where you have to dodge the blocks so you won't get crushed by them, and the Stage has its own AI that stacks random blocks instead of being always the same.
99 Players: GaMetal Tetris A! 50 Players left: GaMetal Tetris B! 10 Players left: GaMetal getting close to the end of the song of Tetris A... K.O.: The final part of the Song.
@@MisteRRYouTuby You think thats crazy? I once saw a Japanese player play Tetris so well not even max speed could beat him. The scoreboard maxed out and the game literally began throwing the credits at him through the screen while he was playing. He continued battling and winning, despite the blocks falling like building rubble in a frantic demo rally. The blocks then proceeded to go invisible, and he STILL somehow memorized the positions of the cubes, WITH the credits rolling at max speed. I could not believe what I was seeing. The credits ended, and it gave him the YOU WON , then THE END thing like a defeated warrior wave a white flag, and he kept going right until the screen blacked out and sent him to title. THAT. Was impressive. And probably the only person I can ever with any confidence say actually won Tetris.
Back in the old days I used to play this game so much that I could never stop playing. Guessing the old memories are a good thing in life. Loving this man, keep up the good work Gametal 👍🏻
That Tetris Attack at the end got me all nostalgic. I'd have to do some thinking on what one would be best to cover. Blargg?... Maybe the boss stages theme.
Well considering he directly stated several times before the reveal of project one that it had nothing to do with Void, I’m pretty sure you can safely assume none of the next 8 videos are void.
Tetris B theme is amazing for metal!! Especially with the slightly baroque sound it has. Should've thrown theme C somewhere in there too, y'know, the minuet from Bach's French Suite No. 3 in B Minor, BWV 814. lol
1:38 - is that Type C? It doesn't sound like either the Game Boy or NES's Type A or Type B music. Edit: Maybe it was Type B and I just couldn't identify the melody at first.
I'm was trying to listen to the song, but I couldn't focus because I kept trying to figure out if that was a freaking TIGREX back there on the shelf. Hell yeah dude, Monster Hunter for life! Classic awesome song too
Yes, I know it's on the actual agenda, it's just a joke, don't hurt me or anyone, Void's cool and all but seriously you guys are getting just a little outta hand. Just a little.
My phone rang. I thought it would be another annoying spam message. I read "RU-vid" and "GAMETAL". I almost drop the phone on my face. Fortunately I managed to play the video. It was worth every single second.
So now the hours of hearing Tetris B went to oblivion cause of your remix... outstanding And... It's "retro November"? Cause if it is, the Uematsu hidden gems on Rad Racer may need an small "adjustment"
Nope, in case you missed the Project One trailer, he’s remaking 10 songs from the first year of GaMetal (well technically Contra was 4 years before GaMetal started but he did it anyway). The next 8 songs are all remakes of songs he did in 09-early 10. Just so happens that he did a lot of older stuff back then.
thanks for actually being a remixer who uses original music rather than just sampling the original GB sounds just to nab copyclaims on people with PROs...
3:20 [INCOMING TRANSMISSION] Ok, things are *definitely* reset. So that other you really did something to the entire timeline. Welp, guess you're going to have to level up...again. You'll do fine, I believe in you! Radio silence from now on until I stumble upon any points of interest! Over and out! [END TRANSMISSION]
The fact it took you this long to get to this shows your versatility when it comes to vg music. If you're taking requests, I'd like to see something from Three Houses like Chasing Daybreak or Apex of the World.
We need a GaMetal pack in Tetris 99 where we get the old GaMetal Tetris song, and when it hits 50 players left we get the new remix, don't know what the 10 players left would be.
So I was listening to some of my favorite video game songs, and I got a couple of suggestions: 1. MEDIC! (Team Fortress 2) 2. Technotris (BPS Tetris) 3. Airship Fortress (Mario Kart DS) 4. Its Pizza Time! (Pizza Tower)
