Bea, after seeing a number of lousy RU-vid videos on Fives, I find yours delightful for two reasons: 1) You speak in terms of tendencies, not absolutes, and 2) There's some inherent nuance in going into subtypes. I do prefer going into stackings when possible, though. As a SX/SO Five, I've never met a more outgoing Five, and I doubt I ever will. I also don't imagine I look particularly Fivish, and I know, in the few opportunities I've given people to guess my type, nobody has ever guessed it correctly. This includes two or more professional Enneagram teachers. That stacking tends to shatter Fivish stereotypes.
Honestly, all three subtypes resonate with me, but also none of them fits perfectly. I care about security/ boundaries, social connection and I have a soft side. My 4 and 6 wings were perfectly balanced the last time I took the test.
5w4 doesn't cancel out being a sexual 5 because it's a different metric. One is enneagram with a wing, another is instinctual variant. tl;dr - you are 5w4 sx/** type. You have yet to mentioned your other variant type, so or sp.
If 5s are the most introverted of the 9 types and SP 5s are the most 5 of 5s, does that mean the SP 5s are the most introverted of all 27 type/subtype?
I feel like SP5's have the least advantages. Being an SO5 means your intellectualism is most useful and put to serving the world, and you have better networking opportunities, while an SP5 just has little willpower, is the least confrontational and wants to just hide away from society.
