I think it's because most important consumers are in Japan it's like like genshin they focus on China because it's most important consumers reather then west
"Japan dose not care about the west." Which is true cause if they did care we would have more American servants, which they are not going to do, which fair, cause I still want the monkey king or other servants from other places as servants then America. Also that guy talking about toxic people in big fandoms. Is really wild to me. Cause i remember 5 years ago-hell even 2 years back how toxic some people can be over anything and the fate fandom is no different. But I was on tumblr where some people didn't shut up about how fate is with queer topics, and as a queer man myself I know fate is not here to deliver on that. It's to deliver on the straight males and females. That's it. So I just ignore what fate dose with stuff like that and just enjoy the game my own way. Not that hard to do. As a side thing. I heard how some people saw the fate reddit and thought everyone was like that. My ex thought I I had those thoughts. To which I told them. "Why are you going onto a reddit to know how people are in a fandom? I DON'T EVEN HAVE A REDDIT. So why are you staying I think like that or view the game or series this way, when I don't mess with those people. Also why do you have one!? What are you even doing on there?" I swear a mess all around. To end it. Really the only thing I want from fate's marketing is merch that is easier to get. Not figures or anything like that. Just stickers or buttons, which I can never find at all.
the vast majority of TM's official products are JP only, to the point where some thigns you literally can only buy with a JP mailing address. i know proxy sites are a thing but still....
If Fate really wanna cater to the gay and str8 women market, then FGO should have far more master-love male servants and real swimmer male Servants in summer events in the gacha! Sigh...... Just don't get this GudaoGay started on the topic
@@bobthebuilderwastaken Yeah. This system to save your progress is outdated. Adding that it doesn't worth, because for this system, you can easily lost an account, from many years, making that you can rage quit from this game.
@@bobthebuilderwastaken Also, if Type Moon consider to do FGO 2, i hope that they also update their system, and allows that in this new game, the players can links their progress with the Google Account, to makes it more safe to prevent to loses game accounts.
I noticed that a lot of anime fans nowadays just want a show with good animation and spectacles where they can turn their brain off and watch it. A lot of those same people will try to get into fate because they want to see all the cool fights and then get confused because they don’t pay that much attention to the story. Fate is highly confusing if you try to consume it like that. It’s one of those franchises where you have to actively pay attention in order to understand what’s going on
they also get confused because they think that all of them are directly connected, they’ll watch unlimited blade works and then go watch grand order Babylonia and have an aneurysm trying to connect the two when they aren’t directly connected in the first place lol
Type Moon is doing okay as is. They just really need to branch out to more single player gaming experience like Samurai Remnant because not everyone is into mobile games or visual novels.
Marketing has never been the focus for Japanese companies. They know their audience too well. The best they do is the occasional MV ... and it works. They LIKE their niche audiences. Even Toriyama, RIP didn't particularly enjoy big fanbases and having a wide sleuth of fans. A lot of Japanese properties, in fact, don't see international growth because they like it that way. The biggest exception to this is Tekken ... and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Honestly, I do not ever worry about the fate marketing is that I notes that kept a balance between popular and not in a way that does not lose interest and does not overexaggerate that give people false expectations and not to mention always when fate begins to lose popularity or interest. Nasu has this secret technique or get serious mode where he does something that will shoot fate up in popularity and interest that what I think personally
Personally, I’m happy with it being in between and with with myself being a Hugh fate fan I can understand the confusion of not knowing how to get into the series, as a whole I tried to get my boyfriend to watch it, but he gave up because he was confuse where to start
Coming back to this video. i think fgo could be one of those things that, if animated, could be a long series. Ik theyll probably skip some chapters of the lostbelts if they do animate them but even lb5 and 6 could be normal length anime in their own right. 6 specifically could be like 20 episodes. Im just coping tho.
I know you probably won't see this comment, but i gotta ask. Why do Mages from the Clock Tower dislike Mages from East Asia and their way of Magecraft? Its been mentioned a handful of times in the series, that East Asian mages tend to get discriminated against by Clock Tower Mages. Why is that, Is it just ol' plain racism? it's probably more deeper than that right? Cuz in your Alcides video you mentioned that his master, Cordelion, is known to use East Asian magecraft in his arsenal and how apparently controversial it is amongst clocktower mages that he can do that What made Clock Tower Mages see East Asian Magecraft as heretical to in their eyes?
Perfectly summed up. Another reason could be the unorganised nature of eastern magecraft. It's really random and has a lot, LOT of base to derive itself from@@user-iy7bv1vs9h
I love playing fgo been playing for about 3 years.I love most of their takes on historical figures,i recently stumbled into a fgo series about how the heroic spirits do on normal grail (well not that we have any normal One) but overall it's great i love it.
Personally I'm okay with the current state of Typemoon. Because my biggest fear is Typemoon becoming to popular and drawing a crowd similar to the hoyoverse fans.
I am not even asking you about white wolf this time.Other than nasu just releasing the things he said he would release way back when. What else do we even need other than reasons to have more singularities and servants for fgo? A video game?
Yeah this is kinda true unfortunately 😂😂 Got a question though. Is anyone here knowledgeable on great african warriors, demigods and magicians and especially the working of african sorcery, spirituality and magic.Including any magic weapon or tool. Especially Igbo since I am igbo. I am trying to write my own novel that takes place in the future with magic that is inspired by Nasu as he is one of my favorite authors. If anyone can help it'd be much appreciated.
