Shreddytom In praise of bacchus and Red Water are perfect songs for an acoustic guitar. I can't sing unfortunately but I do play them a lot... My 7yo son really enjoys especially Red Water... He even hummus along :)
Believe it or not, its just the stock mic that came with a PreSonus pack I bought. The acoustic is unplugged and raw. I took the mic and ran it through my guitar amp to amplify the vocals. Thats it! Lol
I just listened to it for years on end and then finally started watching as many different versions of it as i could. Then just kind of pieced it together over time.
phasselbrack Thank you, bro!!!! I believe it was a half step down. You can play it in standard as well. Typically if I use songs in Standard configurations, I always tine them down a whole step. I can write out a chord sheet for you if you like and send it to your email. The whole song is only about 8 chords. The last part of the song was something I made up on the spot when I recorded it.
After looking back on it over the course of time, I would love to redo it but take my time instead of rushing to record it the second I had figured it out! Haha. I smile and am proud but I would love to hear his criticism as well! I could kick myself for all the mistakes I catch listening to it after the fact. 😂 🙏🤘
