Recently read about betta species, so it is interesting, though too brief. Thank you. I came across an article which discusses various betta complex and features that differentiate species in the complex.
Thanks for the comment, we do go into these 10 types of Bettas in detail on our website here aquadiction.world/bettas/ if that helps, we hope to cover all 73 species but it will obviously take some time! Appreciate you taking the time to comment :)
That toba betta was class, i like bettas but dont like the fact ya have to keep them on they own well most of them anyway, ive had to pack in with my tanks with me loosing job, just kept a big gold fish tank, i will probably start up again if electric prices go back down to normal and i get on my feet again, still watch your vids tho even tho i havent got tank's
So sorry to hear you are falling on tough times Mark!! When you get back into the hobby when prices come down we will help you out with some fish for sure if you want (no charge), hope things turn around for you soon bud :(
All are great, but my favorite is the spot fin...I'm wondering if I could add 1 male betta to my white cloud tank...they'll be here Thursday along with my nerite snails. I guess it's best to establish the white clouds first then introduce the betta
Spot fin and the snakehead I would say are the standout species! A betta with your white clouds should be fine, esp when grown as they are 2 large for a betta IMO and also 2 fast!!
@Aquadiction update...I'm LOVING these white clouds!! I've never had them before and they're just mesmerizing. All 15 white clouds and all 6 panda corys came alive and still doing well. Lowered the temp a bit in both my tanks to a temp everyone can live with comfortably. But yeah I just can't believe how beautiful they are. They sent me two extra panda corys...ordered 4 got 6 because I've had a problem with this seller in the past, but honestly "if" the fish arrive alive they're gorgeous and these are no exception. I love the endless colors you'll see in different lights. I have RGB lights in the white cloud tank. I ended up putting 2 pandas in my 55g so that makes a total of 16 corys of 5 different species of corys. I'm a big cory fan!...oh also my flame java moss is covering my driftwood very nicely
@@FishRfun That's great news bud, they really do impress in person (not so much in LFS till you get them home and settled) What are you thoughts on the gold type? Plans to breed them? They are an easy breeder but only in the first year and a half and seem to become increasingly sterile as they age! We don't have any currently though we moved our hallway custom aquarium to our bedroom recently and setup as an African cichlid tank but we have the airt con unit right next to it so I was thinking we may need to change that up to something cooler as it seems a bit odd to be heating an aquarium next to the air con lol! Love them, great fish! If you like these check out the cardinal minnows aquadiction.world/species-spotlight/vietnamese-cardinal-minnow/ just as nice but smaller! There is a blue variant I saw when I was a teen ONCE, what I would give to get a hold of them now!
@Aquadiction the golds remind me of a small albino rainbow shark which I don't like, therefore don't like the golds. I'm not sure about your a/c/fish tank situation but I think it would be prudent to move it. A friend's mom wants all my fry. She's stocking a few big tanks and really wants all I have which is fine by me. My tiger nerites just came. They're pretty but small. I put 2 in my 55g and 1 in my 15g. I'm going to get more. I think the 55g could handle at least 5 more and thr 15g 1 more. I'm praying the 1 in the 15g is a male...heck I'm praying they all are. I've got so many different types of fish in the 55g so I'm hoping at least one of them will eat snail eggs. Do yall know what fish eat snail eggs?
