what is the difference between natural and candidate key ? both of them are used to uniquely identify record in table and there can be more than 1 natural and candidate key.
@TechCoach
@TechCoach 2 года назад
Natural key is something that normal people/business users use to identify a record in the table , they are more logical and easily recognizable like your employee id or your aadhar card or pan card number .

For validations of scd2 {historical records} what will be the query/ approach?
@TechCoach
@TechCoach 2 года назад
We usually look for act_ind/flag to get the latest records :)

@@TechCoachLast question... if Start date & end date is given... & if we want to findout mismatch records between source to target then?
@TechCoach
@TechCoach 2 года назад
@@surajpatil3579 start date and end date signify between those records which record was active. This is especially important in hierarchies. For example if you were reporting to manager A till aug'21 a part of your trade commision for trades done till aug should go to manager A and for all later trades it should go to the new manager B .
