As someone with 2400+ candles I still feel broke. Update now I have 3800+ 🕯️candles and yes I still feel broke

learning songs on your own not with muscle memory, but by ear or identifying the notes, is by far the most impressive thing you can do. also, I propose two additions to this list: the goofballs: picks goofy outfits. never too serious, good friends to be around and burnout veterans - only still plays the game because they’d feel bad about leaving such a wholesome community. doesn’t go to eden or candle run anymore

I'm a musician player. I discovered that I enjoyed memorising and playing songs, writing and reading sheet music and playing in front of people. And thanks to sky, I became a musician in real life too. I don't play much in game anymore, I have to practice. But I found out that if I could put so much time into a game, then I could do the same with a real instrument, and that's why I'm good at playing. :)

I'm that krill guy, except I know better than to try and play with them when holding hands with most people. They panic and will sometimes get smacked, so it's best to leave them somewhere safe so I don't have deaths on my conscience! Very cute pictures, by the way. Love the video. :)

I'm that kind of musician who likes to play only the game's ready-made scores and doesn't know how to play anything without the scores. But I'm proud of knowing how to play the score of the Christmas grandma who knits (I don't remember the name of the score). I actually memorized very short snippets of two songs I like but not enough for a full song, so i don't know if i can consider myself a real musician 😢

honestly I like the ikemen style, and even getting confused for one myself. But people who just hate on the style and labeling everyone ikemen has made me feel embarassed about even wearing some items i own (the bat cape is a good example)

I love how you draw the eyes! This was so cute. I think a skykid you could include in a sequel would be the 'moth parent'- they adopt lots of new players who will join them to play XD And then they end up carrying around new players with them all the time

I never had the courage to interact with Ikemen, their appearance makes them look so serious, sometimes narcissistic, I know that's not the case in most cases, but sometimes I feel intimidated when I see one but they are always nice to me 😅

I really appreciate the wonderful art style, And I also appreciate the players that take the time to learn music by ear, It's a hard thing to do sometimes because the notes in the game are a little too cheery for say something like an old storytelling song, But I try my best anyways, Although I can't exactly do more then a few tunes, Wouldn't consider them full songs yet, But I will eventually learn. ♥

I am a "Musician". But i would add the type called "The loner" which have no real path, and stays always alone, until a moth or someone random encounters them, then helps for no reason. My specialty is leading moths to wacky paths so they get confused on all the paths that the game has thanks to the windpaths. LOL

i just got by boyfriend into Sky yesterday and he is 100% a moth lmao one of the first things he did after i taught him how to honk was spam-honk at LEAST 100 times

I'm the kind of player who logs on at 1am only to do quests and gather candles most of the time x) Though I try to do extra running in some other realms to get more (I'm genuinely not rich, I have like 60 candles lmao). And, I really like the crabs. They're just SO ADORABLE and I wish they didn't push us around 🥲. My favorite place with them is the campfire at Wasteland, cause they're friendly and I don't have to knock them over to be safe

I am definitely the krill lover. I even got a bunch of my friends who were previously scared of krills to love them too. Now we go in groups of 5/6/7 people and krill each other like crazy 😂

I fall into the "musician" category. I love playing music, but I only really play things I teach myself or look up tutorials for. It really is relatable, the whole part about messing up sometimes whilst learning a song and it sounding awful, lol. That's why I tend to practice in private... which then makes it awkward for everyone when someone sits down to listen and gets an earful of wrong notes! Haha. :'p

This was super charming! I'm absolutely the candlerun friend, but that's because I'm still a new player trying to catch up

I AM THE SAME MUSICIAN 😭 I want to play beautiful music for my friends(and myself) but I don't use tutorials, so all the songs I learn are usually half finished(aka only learning the main part, no extra background music) and it makes it harder to recognize and I think most people think I'm pressing random buttons 😭😭 Especially if it's a song I haven't practiced much cus often there are mis-clicks or pauses as I try to remember the next notes 😭 I'm also the krill lover cus I think they are very cute, but I respect their personal boundaries (most of the time) 😂 I don't bother them when I'm with others, especially if they don't know me well or trust me just yet, but I think the krill are so cute! The crabs are cute too! I try to not knock then down if I need to go past them, even for shards even though that is usually what makes me lose wings! And lastly.... The candle runner 😂 I actually feel bad cus I literally only ever go on Sky to candle run or do dailies, so basically everytime my friends are with me I just drag them on a candle run cus I don't have time for anything else... I NEED ALL THE COSMETICS AND IT'S NEVER ENOUGH CANDLES 😭😭 I wish I was like those rich candle runners though, who have thousands and still feel poor, I'm just genuinely poor 😭😂 I buy almost every cosmetic from the spirits as long as I actually like them, and I ALWAYS run out of candles! I have 100 right now, but it's cus I'm collecting as many as possible for days of Music, and on the last day I'm going to budget what I have to see what I can afford, cus I can't afford to get every item 😭 I will be back to 0 again, and I'll have to candle run every day, and I'll finally get up to 200 again, and then bam, another expensive Traveling spirit and I'm back to 0 😭 My lifestyle is so expensive. The saddest part, is it's basically the only reason I still play Sky 😭 To end this off, I just wanted to say I've actually never met a self-obsessed Ikemen. Majority I have met ate genuinely cool, awesome people who just have a sick sense of style. lololol I feel called out with the krill lover XD. Though I think krill lovers have unspoken rules of no krill baiting, don't take friends to one if they don't want to (deposit in safe place), help moths through the wastelands. I do admit, I get a little petty with krill baiters that have targeted my friends and I (constantly was trying to set krill onto us). Krill don't scare me but they really stress my friends to the point of tears. So yes, I will befriend krill baiters and I will use their bodies to slap a krill. It's a harsh lesson but they should know better.

Crazy, I haven't met a single rude ikemen during my time as a player (A couple of the fan service ones included) usually they be chillin. Lucky in that department but unlucky for me I have met a lot of rude chibi's. xD Then again, I get called a mistaken a lot in the game for being Ikemen. 95% of musicans attention seeking only 5% writes music themselves what the attention seekers copy from them 😅… chibis never help …. So recommend for less toxic people avoid light up chibis and musicans also silence instruments 24/7 …. Also some simply play for a very long time and don’t indent to be cool or show off at all so actually because of this reason I love new players they less judgemental and open and fun if they not creeps search for their online love 😂
