Its misogynistic as fuck tho, its literally just skin if you cant have someone wear that as the teacher youre a fucking pedophile and if you cant as a STUDENT you need help
@Sarah C Actually they are... It is not about sexualizing or whatsoever. It is mainly about context and manners... School is a working environment... Hence why there often are guidelines on what can and cannot be worn to school... For every occasion you have guidelines on what and what not to wear... You are not gonnah play sports in jeans, to a restaurant in swimwear, to a funeral in Black Lingerie, to the store in a weddingdress, etc... School is a space where u should dress at least semi-professional...
In primary school, I had some teachers who were the absolute goat. It was a Halloween day, and you were meant to get dressed up in a costume, but my mum didn't see the email about it and everyone else was dressed up and I was there completely clueless in my school uniform and my teachers saw and they helped me out and got me a cape from the drama class wardrobe and I got to be Dracula. I'll never forget that. W teachers.
I've never had a school uniform, so it was my own clothes day every day + a lanyard in secondary school and sixth form. edit: I guess I'm part of the rare breed of non-uniform state secondary's in the UK. In my area, there are 3 that I can think of and the rest (most of them) are uniform. I did however have a PE t-shirt in purple
@@pxpsiperson well that's lucky we have uniform in UK schools because ewe don't need to spend on money just to wear different outfits in American schools everyday
I'd always keep a spare change of clothes in my locker for these days that we'd call "civies days" or "dress-down" days. I almost always forgot that it was the last Wednesday of every month and showed up in my uniform while everyone was wearing their normal clothes
I'd actually cry if I ever forgot it was mufty day lol- I hate the school unfiorm way too much to not remember🤣✋🏼 as soon as I know, you best bet I'll be sketching an outfit in my mind and then going home to prepare it.
@@Traffic_cone_consumer its what we call "own clothes day" in England, since we wear uniform. We get to wear our own clothes eg on the last day of term or on the last day before the Christmas holiday, or for charity events sometimes like breast cancer month (where you're meant to wear pink lol but no one does), and you pay £1 in exchange for getting to wear your own clothes. Its the school's way of profitting.
Is it just me that has huge anxiety about these days. It’s not about being made fun of it’s thinking it’s a comfy day and it end up not being one. Which is why I always come up with some excuse on why I didn’t wear comfy day 😅😅
I always come in my school clothes because I have bad anxiety, like what if non school uninform day was cancelled and no one told me😃😃 I do the same with world book day too, what If I come in dressed like Mr Bean or summ when everyone else is in school uniform 💀
I was that kid who wore uniform because my parents were cheap and didn’t want to let me go out in my own clothes, I remember one day on Red Nose Day my class was taking a picture and I got told to stand behind the tallest kid there in the back so that you could just barely see me- man I hated that class
At my school there’s usually a good chunk of people who still wear their uniforms. Sometimes you are only reminded the night before on the schools Instagram and I don’t use it much so sometimes I miss the dress down days too lol. It also costs $2 to dress down so it’s understandable that some people can’t find the money in the morning or don’t want to waste.
May I ask how? When they're just saying their experiences? That are still accurate today?? OP isn't saying it's correct, even though they don't say it's wrong. I don't see the reason to bring such a serious topic into a skit. It DOES need to be talked about more, and dealt with eventually, but making jokes about it isn't bad. This isn't intended as a serious channel.
I generally just wear the uniform on Mufti day because the uniform is more comfortable than anything I have and most of the students wear the uniform as well
