I like this setup. Putting the ESC in the battery tray is brilliant. Fans on both the motor and ESC have fans and the body still goes on. Perfect setup. 👍

Nice video and Thank you using my electronics platform and mentioning me 😊 and agree these car aren't stable and uncontrollable but are fun to build 🙂 You have inspired me on a new thing through and that's using a Gorgon as a dog toy. My dog 🐕 flips out over my RC'S so I usually leave her inside because I don't want her near them. The 4x2 Gorgon sounds perfect for her to chase and chew on 😅

Very nice build, my Typhon Grom was delivered today! I also plan to install the identical motor/controller combination! But I have a question: how was the fan attached to the motor and what size is it? In my estimation, it should be a 30mm fan, is that correct? Thank you for sharing your build with us! Best regards

Yeah a 30mm fan and it’s double sided taped onto the center brace that runs from front to back. If you’re really clever you could find the right size screw and just tap into the brace barely so you do t hit the shaft as that plastic is pretty thick.

Nicely done! I have the same setup except I went with the 120a esc. About to solder tomorrow 😂. Like you, I’m ready to get it off the bench (have another build waiting on me). Hopefully you’ll find the build that’s a happy medium for you and your pup to enjoy. Great looking dog, he’s fast too! 🫡

I don't sell any of my cars I keep them all what I really think you would start really liking FG model sport the cars are not cheap they have disc brakes aluminum car from 5% UPS on road racing is where it's at

Hey buc. First drag racing is just dead here. Idk if it ever come back. Luckily I got a lot to occupy my time. Dabbling in the bashers for fun at home and with the dog. And then there is my carpet stuff. Oval is technically done but there will be a big summer race. Until then I am going to focus on my f1 car and skills. As far as selling it’s really just about space and I always discount stuff so maybe it’s just in reach for someone who might not have enough funds to make fun happy.

I'm still racing my 4-year-old x-ray 8.3 very fat ass 1/8 scale on road car I have both versions Nitro and Electric I erase both very competitively and of course I will never get rid of my yokomo 10th scale buggies two-wheel drive and 4 wheel drive they are the best in my book
