I am pretty bad at chess, I think I rank around 1100. I have a friend who is nearly a GM. He says some of the most amusing matches he has had have been with me for that exact reason. There was one game I beat him, because I sacrificed my queen to stop his knight. It wound up closing his entire attack because the knight was only guarded by a pawn. He was completely aghast that I would outright trade a queen for a knight and had no plan for that.

@@michael9433 Send the game. There's a fair chance that's a lie, since around that rating, you would have to outplay an IM without a queen rather than wait for mistakes or blunders. I have played a 1600 many times and have reviewed games with them in the past; they make minor errors that allow for you to get a better position only if you see a tactic or positional move, with extremely rare 'dumb' blunders that 1000's can see. You saying that your unpredictability can let you win one game against a player close to 1000 rating points higher than you is not true; if a much stronger player doesnt expect a response, you most likely missed the best move.

@@andromedasiddhik2792 I never understood why blunders and inaccuracies are written the way they are. Like, "!?" looks like the engine is appalled by your move, "??" is much more calm. Imo they should be swapped
