Sorry bud, you aren't the only one to solo an hydra in an Eagle. I've done it, and I've seen 3 commanders of my clan doin it too. Back in the days, with an Imperial Eagle i could 1v1 Imperial Cutters and Federal Corvettes, really not that easy but after 3000h in the ship you start to know the ship better than anything else. Oh i still approve that video, Eagles are like glasses... Better learn to move fast if you wanna ride that ship. I must admit things might have changed since the space legs, i stopped playing just before it came out.

There's a reason why my Eagles are named "Combat Coffin" (fighter) and "Wreckless Endangerment" (canyon racer). A lone Eagle may not bring much heft to a battle, but I've had more fun losing fights in an Eagle than I've had winning then in just about anything else!

I had an Eagle once. It was nice, until i afterburned it into the control spire of a space station and it exploded. The Eagle exploded, not the spire.

Then, a few hundred thousand light years of travel, a few million tons of cargo delivered, and countless squashed pirates, bugs, and people pledged to someone other than the blue haired waifu or the CEO of everyone’s favorite mega corp….. you say, “hold my Hutton mug” and go back to the earliest days just to see if several thousand hours of stick time suddenly make you able to work around those early day shortcomings. Problem is your Hutton mug was full of Lavian Brandy and you could swear this station has two toast racks for some reason….. Wait that’s just me.🤦‍♂
