Very good point👍..Carlton Cole was a decent Pro,had potential,but In truth was probably more of a squad player,or lower Div at best,and Jaime O,,once again had some potential,but then Spurs got rid of him and then he became famous for being famous! (as I understand) .But I only managed to listen to these two for a few mins(and stopped at that silly (Q)of his. And that's the trouble with so many of these players!. They make it into the first team and become delusional in how they see themselves! Which means very little or necessary room for improvement!. And unfortunately Wayne Rooney is the last time u will see someone of his talent and quality pull on a England Shirt! They've neither the ability,hunger and desire that is required to reach such lofty levels!

We will either win or finish 2nd in our group and lose in the ko stages to the 1st world class team we play, i.e France or Germany. Is Phillips creative? I do like Phillips but I had him more of a very good defensive midfielder with a good long pass. In some ways that makes him creative but not in the way Klobby meant! If I am honest, I have not seen loads of Phillips and he might be more creative than I am giving him credit for.

The biggest thing England have going for them is they're playing the majority of their matches at Wembley. In my opinion their downfall will be their inexperience at international level. Then those that are experienced, like Maguire, Henderson and Kane have big fitness concerns hanging over them.

Rice-Henderson-Mount vs Kanté-Pogba-Griezmann, Kimmich-Goretzka-Kroos, Jorginho-Verratti-Barella, De Jong-Wijnaldum-van de Beek, Modric-Kovacic-Brozovic, Rodri-Koke-Pedri... even Portugal have Bruno and Bernardo Silva.

You know what’s mad? France’s U21 squad. I know they lost the other day (undeservedly so if you ask me) but they are so good. Since England failed to qualify for the U21 Euros, I’ve been wondering why certain players in the England set up weren’t allowed to play U21 football this year so they’d have a chance at winning it. Now I realise that it’s because England have a serious lack of talent over 23. Imagine if the U21 team had players like Henderson, Greenwood, James, Bellingham, Sancho, Mount, Foden, TAA, Saka and Rice. They could’ve went all the way. It’s a shame really because, for all the talent in this country, England got embarrassed in the U21 qualifiers. You can argue they shouldn’t be playing U21 because they’re high profile players but France had at least 6 relatively high profile players in their starting lineup. A lot of the players didn't make the French squad except for 2-3 in Upamecano, Kounde, and Camavinga. It is rather a testament to their depth, to show how good they are as a system.

@@vedaantkarthik8632 just like the other nations. England U21 couldv called foden, Bellingham or saka. Portugal couldv called felix, neto or Nuno Mendes. Spain the same thing. I've been watching a lot of the U21 euro and Portugal has some serious quality in their kids

In terms of actual quality passers of the ball like a playmaker he’s right, there’s a lot of quality ball carriers that can take the ball past people but not many can ping a pass or thread one through, Trent can, grealish can, mount has before but in terms of a pure passer there isn’t one tbf

Croatia got 3 great midfielders that are very good with the ball modric rakitic and kovacic. Also have kramaric orsic and perisic. Man’s off his nut, Belgium haven’t got a hope in hell, Hazzard is 20%, KDB is injured, they don’t have defence anymore, long balls to Rom and Mertens 🙄. Moderic was old 3 years ago, dudes a spectator in most games, can’t get in front of the ball. England’s midfield is stacked with creativity, it’s not arrogance, it’s a fact, Prem is the best league in the world, and these players have been tearing it up. Not saying England will win but you should be confident we can do a job.

We don't have anyone who can control the midfield. Rice is good but is he going to control a midfield against Modric? And our mentality is atrocious. We collapse under the pressure at tournaments every single time. The only thing in our favour is home advantage. We could easily fail to get out of the group stage. Croatia could beat us and then we have two teams who can be hard to break down.

I think Klobby is a bit harsh with saying our midfield isn't creative. It's about the best we've had for a while now. Upfront speaks for itself. It's at the back where we'll struggle. From GK, the centre backs. The wingbacks are good going forward, but defensively very average. Belgium won't win it though!
