Jobseekers often ask me: "What kind of questions can I ask the interviewer - especially at the end of the job interview?"
Let me start by saying: a job interview is a two-way street:
✔️ It's not ONLY about you - as a jobseeker - answering THEIR questions
✔️ It's ALSO about them - as your future employer - answering YOUR questions
Because: you don't only want them to hire you. They also want you to choose their company!
So, keep the interview at the same level (there is no hierarchy), be yourself, be authentic and ask questions during the interview to understand their needs, like:
✔️ Why do you wan to hire me?
✔️ Why is this job position available?
✔️ What are the challenges?
That's how you create a two-way street!
Some questions to ask at the end of the job interview would include questions about the application process, the next steps, when and how to proceed. Getting answers to those (last) questions will create clarity!
