Doesn't count if it's not meant. Why do you think the other girl is crying? She actually has the maturity to feel remorse, whereas that Tanisha person has a whole lot of growing up to do.
Judi O'Regan No, people cry for many different reasons. Honestly, she cries A LOT. She could be crying because of how people would look at her knowing that she said that, etc. Honestly, this is not something that you can just say sorry for and the matter is through. At the end of the day the sorry does not in a sense make up for the action, it just doesn't. Also, is Tyra is telling her to say sorry, was it meant in the first place? You say sorry when you really are sorry, not when someone tells you to do so.
Ikr? Honestly I kinda get it. If that other girl wasn't feeling those things in her heart she probably wouldn't have spouted them off in a drunken rage moment. The apology seemed kinda fake to me.
I don't take apologies when someone has to make the other person apologize. If they were really sorry, they would look me in the eyes. If they were really sorry, they wouldn't have such a dead look in their eyes. When a teacher makes a kid say sorry to another kid, it's not genuine.
Naija Christine That's exactly what I'm talking about! Sometimes when people say sorry, they don't mean it. I can tell by the look on their face, their body language, things like that. If they aren't turned to me, which means they are not giving full attention while apologizing, it's rude. If someone crosses their arms or puts their hands in their pockets, its sort of like their security blanket. If they did wrong and hurt me, they shouldn't feel as if they need a security blanket to "shield" themselves away. JS. I know everybody is different, but the way they act while saying sorry can make the other person not believe them if they don't act like it.
+Breanna Bunny i hate when people make others apologise. that's like forcing a really fake moment for the sake of fake reconciliation. it just makes it really lame.
Okay first of all that was a smirk not a laugh. That's not necessarily a laugh at them or the girl crying. Have u never been so shocked by the audacity of someone u just laugh because it's the only way to keep your composer? She can't go off and be all like them because that's unprofessional in her stature. It's not fake. Though the whole scenario is probably fake because it's reality television. But I've laughed when my nephew was being a major ass to his sister because I couldn't believe he could be that thick! She might have been smirking at tanisha thinking, "this bitch is setting us back 2000 years!"
She always cries yo 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 its even funnier cause its true 😂😂😂 even tyra start laughing this shit is GOLD hillarious...i come bck for my daily laugh
Watching this entirety of this season, I feel like Tyra was making Tanisha look like the bad guy. If you watch this episode, Tanisha didn't even start that fight. Cordelia was drunk & wanted to get Tanisha thrown by provoking her to fight her. Tanisha shouldn't have to apologize for being antagonized.
I think it was Tanisha who started the argument in the first place. Yes Cordelia said something racist, but Tanisha provoked it by bullying her and telling her to pop off. I am not saying Cordelia had the right to say and that this was an excuse, but I am just saying Tanisha did bully her too. That's why Tyra is making her apologize too.
+Jada Marie - More than likely you read/heard one of countless amount of poems and sayings by Dr. Maya Angelou. :) "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.".
And what is the word ghetto associated with beloved, google it. It's a racially charged word associated with minority groups/areas, black women in particular. Much like thug is for black men. Not really rocket science.
maybe there is something else I didn't see... I'm still wondering about the full story but I mean taneisha was calling her names as well so I guess that's why she said sorry
Ummm Tyra said she heard “black ghetto bitch” her producers said they heard the same thing...so to think that in this comment sections that being challenged is ridiculous..but denial is the new form of racism I suppose...in any event I wouldn’t have apologized period...to think that an insult can compare to a racial slur is preposterous
I've never heard someone apoligize like that 😂. I live in the UK, and the only time posh people say "beg your porden" is when they're trying to hear someone better.
Tanisha knew Cordelia was bullshitting 😂 😂 😂! Just because someone is crying doesn't mean there is any real emotion behind it. It's obvious Cordelia was putting on fit sympathy, Tanisha was just to raw to pay it any serious attention 😂
after watching this years later Tyra kinda seems annoying, Nothing is every approved until she says so. She tells ppl how to feel or act but is not open minded to other peoples perspectives but hers. i use to love this show growing up but watching these old clips shows me a lot about her i never noticed.
+Aisha Perez Aisha means that Tyra tries to get to them psychologically and she is not qualified to do so because she does not have a professional degree. She's just an old, worn out model still looking for attention like a juvenile teen and thinks she can dissect everybody's minds.
I agree. I could never watch her show because she always tried to tell people that she knew better than them and that her opinion should be taken as gold. People hate the Dr. Phil show but at least he has a degree in his field. At least he has some education behind what he does. Hosting ANTM made sense for her but having her own talk show didn't.
+Sophie K If you think about it who is a retired model to tell people they have mental problems, and how can a retired model "fix" people's mental problems? She has no education and no experience in this area.
I love Tyra but she is ALWAYS interrupting everyone! Like when they try to explain their case whether it's good or bad she never lets the person explain themselves fully.
apologizes that are forced to be said aren't real nor from their heart. You should never tell another person to apologize. The person themselves should apologize IF they want to and mean it
I'm going threw stuff and...... Thank you someone else wants me to apologize but I didn't start it and it's not my fault there mad about actually I don't know? I needed to hear that thank you.
what's funny is that she puts on her little act of fake crocodile tears to get everyone on her side. for everyone defending her, its never been said to them, and they don't have to deal with that kind of discrimination on a daily basis. She knew exactly what she was saying, and doesn't even deserve an act of repentence, much less an apology.
omg i thought i was the only one! at one point i was like, hold up, now it seems everyone is siding with cry baby and the bigger lady is the bad one lmao
She needs to grow up and get over it. We all have shit said to us, no reason to act like a spoiled, stubborn child with a total lack of humility. She ain't special.
Well the white female claimed "she wasn't like that" but anyone that gets mad and use a racial remark is racist flat out. She showed her true colors, Its hard forgiving someone especially when it comes down to a racial issue. Also the black female still got hate for it like tf
The last 3 seconds where it cuts back to them and they're losing their shit to the outro music is pure comedy gold. Like something straight out of a Mad TV skit.
Bruh I saw this a few years ago and it just popped into my head randomly and had to look it up. Tanisha laughing when cordillia was crying those fake crocodile tears has me weak af every single time. And Tyra has always been annoying af w her bossy ass she was literally talking to these grown as women as if they were her children. Yes we know you've been in the industry for a while but you don't demand someone to apologize. You ask them if they want to and if they don't want to or do do it but in a manner that you feel wouldn't be taken kindly from the public you assist and give them advice in a respectable manner on how to do so for future purposes. She's irritating.
Le' Be Then why did they go on the show to get help with a simple problem? They're acting like children and should be treated as so. They went on her show to get help, and if they cannot take any criticism on how they should then don't ask in the first place. If you act like a child expect to be treated like one.
+Snowm4nMj girl bye. Like I said she's not their mother and they were still gona do as they pleased regardless. They didn't go on her show for help they went on her show for more exposure and Tyra had them on for ratings lbvs. This wasn't a true therapy session and Tyra isn't a therapist. It's simple.
Le' Be They asked for her advice on what they should do on her show and she told them. How is that trying to be someone's mother? Nobody has to be someone's mother to tell them that they're acting like children and should settle this like adults by apologizing. Why does everyone think you have to be related to someone to tell them that something is wrong or stupid, what kind of stupid logic is that? Should I have to be a cop to tell somebody not to kill or steal? No, that's so stupid, lol. Just because they are adults does not mean they get the benefit of the doubt, nobody should. so "girl, bye"
Tyra is annoying. Why should someone have to apologize if they really don't want to. And if she did apologize to her, and they squashed it, fine! Saying Cordelia got hate mail, ALL OF THEM GET HATE MAIL. EVERY CELEBRITY GETS HATE MAIL. Why is she trying to push that on Tanisha not apologizing? If someone doesn't like her, that's them. Not Tanisha. How is someone else's feelings towards someone else her fault? Really? Making people do shit on HER terms. She's so annoying.
When a person is WRONG, they force THEMSELVES to apologize. Its uncomfortable for EVERYONE to do. its not like tanisha and the other girl were oblivious as to what was gonna go down on the show that day. EGO is tanisha's (and others) problem.
Yve Bee what are you talking about? they already said they squashed it themselves and even if they weren't oblivious , its still not her place to tell someone to apologize on HER terms. it never even involved her.
gui banks 1. did you just say "mad or nah"? oh yeah , that's so original. you come up with that on your own? i've never heard everyone on the entire planet say that and suddenly think they've won an argument. grow the fuck up. 2. i'm not even into guys, so she can have any ones she wants. no one gives a fuck. 3. how old are you? can you even speak english? i suggest you pick up a dictionary and an english book because your spelling and grammar is that of a 1st grader. which is an insult to my little cousin because she makes more sense than you. 4. how long have you been riding tyra's dick? you're not tired yet? your whole argument doesn't even make sense to what i said. you need to grow the fuck up.
I completely agree with you, Imani. When you have to force someone to apologize, it's not as sincere. And nobody made Cordelia go on the Bad Girls Club; Therefore, she was subject to criticism (positive or negative).
I would never apologize to someone after they made racist statements. Because racism is about power and who has it and who doesn't, A white woman can say or do something racist and then cry her way out of taking responsibility, while black women are required to apologize for provoking the racist words and actions. My first hand experience comes from a co-worker that used the n-word and then cried expecting me to understand. She knew exactly what she was doing and why. I would demand that they go to antiracism therapy to deal with their racism. because at the end of the day you can call me names but racist names will always be unacceptable. Too many black people have died to be free of this abuse
wisdomiswomenofcolor so u have never said something in the heat of anger just to hurt someone? Even something you didnt mean or believe? We all have. Doesnt mean she really is racist. Racism isnt calling someone a name in anger. Its a belief system. You think someone would cry and apologize to someone that they truly believed was inferior to them? (Def if racism) No. A true racist would never apologize for it or feel bad about calling you that name, because they truly believe you are beneath them. The fact she felt bad and apologized proves she doesnt believe what she called you, and doesnt believe that her behavior was ok. Yes many blacks have died bc of racism, but keep up the fight against the true racist that would call you that name, never feel bad, nor apologize.
The Sarge Its funny that 99% of the time when white people get mad at a black person, the first insult that pops into their head is a racial slur. That didn't come from nowhere. When people are angry their true feelings come out. People always insult on what they believe to be bad. Someone calls another person fat because they find fatness inferior and disgusting. Someone calls another person ugly because they see that as something bad to be. So why would her the white lady use black as apart of her insult. If she genuinely didn't see anything wrong with being black, why use it as an insult?
Shania Smith or we think of something that is the most hurtful we can say, even if we dont believe it. In the moment the person is angry. How many times have you said things you dont mean when youre angry? I know I have many times.
Shania Smith when I’m mad at my Best friend (who is Black) i don’t say something like that!!! You made it Sound like every White person would Call Them Black!!! My Best friend does however Call me “dumb White whore” or “fucking White idiot”!!! Would you Call her a racist...no???
How tf is Tyra gonna tell someone how to apologize. If she wants to say "I beg your pardon" who are u to tell her how to apologize. Need to be apologizing for blinding me with that forehead
I love Tyra, but I don't think anyone should apologize just because it's national television, they should apologize if it comes from their heart. Don't make them say sorry because you want them to.
Ooo Tyra had no business having the bgc on her show 😂😂 she was not prepared lmao. & at the end when the camera pans away and tanisha is cussing out cordelia 💀💀
