The Tyranid threat has never been explained to me so comprehensively. Specifically: "They think and hate us" throws a completely new look at their story

I thought the video title was “hate made minis” and I thought it was a video essay on how much of a pain they are to build, lol.

Whenever I listen to brother Baldermort mentioning the Tyranids I can't avoid the mental image of a servo skull hovering around with a can of Raid. Please forgive my jest good scholar, as always thank you for your astounding work

These creatures are truly Lovecraftian. To think ours is the last unconquered galaxy in the universe, standing in the way of this living tsunami.

Just in time for me to wait at the doc's office for bloodwork, this'll be a fat wait, but with a new Baldemort vid it'll zoom on by.

Baldemort, your videos made me love writing fiction again. I've not written creatively since I left high school, and I was always a bit embarrassed at my previous attempts. I'm not from a very literary background and have severe anxiety, so it always felt like it wasn't for people like me. But your verve, attention to detail, and sheer unashamed joy in the material has made me put pen to paper for the first time in years. Fittingly, it's a 40k fanfic!

Some Tyranid goodness right on the twilight of the new edition, thank you Baldermort. I hope we might get a return to the Tau and the Tankers this summer!

From what I got out of the books, the hate is merely the closest emotion to a human one Mephiston could sense. I took it as more of great frustration at the efficiency of the prey to resist, and therefor tried to direct a hillariously superior force to strike out one of the biggest percieved threats so they could then continue to consume and integrate biomass. The Great Rift fried the synaptic so bad it shreded the entire splinter fleet dedicated to Baal, leading to the few survivors being essentially feral, except for Old One-Eye.

And l thought it was all down to Trazyn the infinite pokeyballing them to replace the fleet he lost when the bell of Saint Gerstahl rang and freed the Tyranids who made a mess of one wing of his museum.😂😂

Brother Baldermort! What a great and terrible mind that turns it’s hungry gaze upon humanity. And yet I find myself wondering, if it, in some form at least, is shaped like a mind, could Nurgle infect the endless synapstic web with the equivalent of spungyform encephalopathy? Hearing you put you absolutely amazing voice to their lore is so satisfying. When I heard that they will be the new big enemy of 10th edition, I went out and bought a beer to celebrate. A Baldermort video about my favorite Tyranid bioform? Hot diggity dog, looks like Christmas came early! These monsters always excite me to see in battle. They do basically everything and anything they have to short of zipping across the board unsupported. And ifthe new model of winged Prime is any hint, they might even get that niche covered with the possible return of Tyranid Shrikes! A whole army of Tyranid Warriors and their derivatives might not be the best, but it sounds awesome and a whole lot of fun.

I know it's a game, but if the Tyranids were real, they would have no need to bother with specific planets with life. They have the ability for fusion tech and can literally just consume hydrogen, which is everywhere in the universe for food. That's why fusion tech is the holy grail in the real world. You can create anything with that first most basic element.

I can't say that the Tyranids are in all space around the Milky Way. But I can say that different fleets have come from Galactic NE, Galactic E, Galactic SE, galactic S, and from below the Milky Way. If not wholly, they have us Half-Surrounded.

Tyranid warriors are my most favorite of the small Bio morphs.

It seems like the Necron would be the perfect hard counter to the Tyranids due to their lack of biomass (other than flayed ones) as every battle would end up being a net negative in terms of biomass, regardless of if they win or lose.
