Yeah I really like to work this guy toes but every now and then it is a little weird like he is rude to people that are cordial to him. Not saying I don’t like APor what he’s doing because I think it’s great. But it was even kind of weird when he said to the guy who was polite, “you’re with them”, as in even though you were nice you’re with the other who was an asshole so now you’re an asshole too. But it’s weird because he usually doesn’t do that .

@@yoFACTOR Generalizing isn't a good idea most occasions, but not regarding this topic. One officer is almost always a proper representation of his entire department. All cops aren't bad obviously but in my experience, if you find a bad cop there's a good chance his entire department is rotten in a similar fashion and will 99% of the time back the bad officer up. That said, even though the officers did block the driveway and the one guy was rude, this encounter and especially the one respectful officer would suggest these aren't bad guys. They still deserved that verbal lashing though as honestly it wasn't all that bad.

When businesses and govt offices first started using video cameras in the 60s and 70s, a lot of people complained about the violation of privacy. That's when SCOTUS ruled there is no expectation of privacy in public. In *_Katz v United States,_* (1967), the Court ruled that anything that a person knowingly exposes to the public, regardless of location, is not protected by the Fourth Amendment. A person must keep something private for the Fourth Amendment to apply.

As a security guard I understand. We watch for potential terror as well. Someone recording or watching a building could be a sign of planning an attack. So I understand peoples concern but, these guys don't set off any suspicious alarms to me.

First guy was good. You could read his body language, he was disappointed when the ranking officer failed to identify and was visibly frustrated at being associated with that type of behavior. He also immediately investigated his parking when you brought it up. The 4th vehicle was the Sgt. Hopefully he admonishes the failure to identify from his subordinate (who I believe is a field training officer based on his lone stripe). The behavior from this clown, from his parking in the middle of the drive, to the window being down, and failure to identify is just an embarrassment to anyone associated with this department.

But on the other hand, why do accept such a low standard from people who have a lot of power? They’re clearly uninformed about the majority of basic laws. I felt the same. He seemed cognizant of what they were doing wrong but is too young and probably new to feel like he can assert himself over the older, higher ranking officers. He didn't really do anything wrong. If the others didn't show up and just Brady arrived, that would've gone very differently.

The one thing I hate about cops is how they think they can park anywhere without lights on in a non-emergency situation creating a potentially dangerous situation for people. If you or I would have parked like that, we would have to pay fines and listen to their lecture on how we almost caused an accident. How is their car different than mine without any emergency lights on. Just hate it when they do that.

If you disagree, then why should you have to pay a fine to park like that? Why are you okay with your child or parent potentially get into an accident due to a cop car parked in a completely bad spot without emergency? @Robert Fisher How does that not bother you, if you do it you will get fined and lectured by the same guy who will go and do the exact same thing without being an emergency and think that he's fine to do it just because he wears a uniform and has a badge, if they have their lights on and its a legitimate emergency that's a different story because they may not have the time to park properly, but in a non emergency they have the same time and must obey the same road rules as you or me but putting that uniform on gives them a sense of being above the law which is WRONG

Officer Jeff Brady did a good job. He was respectful and chill. I agree, good officers like him need to speak up when tyrants like the other two are out of line. But ease up on him and explain that to him. Help him to see why it matters.

I have seen a few videos where he is being stonewalled by the judicial system, if you have ever dealt with that you may understand why he has become a little brash. I think he might have been able to do a little more in the moment, but unfortunately if the department is bad enough he could face consequences or be let go if they were higher rank or have connections. It might be best for him to just keep working hard to be one of the good ones and do what he can to repair the issues caused by the bad. Just like some illegal police actions should not be challenged in the streets and handled in the courts. I think he is playing the long game. I bet he is truly one of the good ones.

They all get the same tone because the "good cop" isn't stopping his partner's tyrannical behavior. The "few bad apples" excuse will not work anymore. I mean police are hired to enforce law's yet they do the opposite right infront of a camera and you are expecting us to be fair to the polite officers who dont do anything about their tyrant parters.

They could do it without being total assholes and nobody would blink an eye. I live very close to where this was filmed and I know Officer Brady and Officer Newell, they're both really nice guys. They just get tired of dealing with people like THIS who cause intentional & unnecessary drama.
