Hello, Very nice tools! Though I have a tip for you. When you try to bring the bead over the top edge of the wheel, Be Sure to press down the bead on the opposite side of the wheel downward towards the center of the wheel!! This will give you much more clearance and the bead will come Up and Over the wheel Much Easier! Please try this technique. Good Luck and Much Success

Hi Scourdej, some rims and tires are indeed extremely difficult. I found the smaller wider rims with low profile tires also quite a challenging compared to your standard adventure bike rim and tyre. What I do to pop the bead on these rims is first work around the rim with one spoon loosening the rubber from the rim once or twice. Then take 2 spoons and put them between the bead and rim side by side but 2 inch apart and push them down. This creates a gap between the spoons. I don't know if you have the WheelWedge but then I push the flat 8mm thick side of the WheelWedge in that gap. This creates a bit of space between the rim and the tyre on either side of the WheelWedge. You can now more easily position the bead breaker in that space and push the bead down more effectively. If you don't have the WheelWedge, you can use anything as a helper tool like a one of the spanners (although it is a bit thick and pops out more easily than the WheelWedge) or other tools like a steel spanner which fit in. The trick is to keep the tyre a little bit away from the rim and then position and apply the bead breaker. If you need more help let me know, send a mail or call me. Rgds. Eastbound / Noel
