i purchased a 2 nd hand gurkha. The guy was an offroader and had R15 steel alloys installed with maxxis 320/115 R15 tyre. Now i want to switch to neo wheels"killer" alloy -R16 with stock tyres of 245/70 -R16 hoping they will work well both on road and off road. And if i want to save some bucks than i can go for 265/70 R-15 tyre in the already installed rim. It will be 20 mm wider. What do you suggest?

Bhai, i was using company fitted 175/60 r15 tyres on my hyundai aura sx sedan and two tyres burst(bad road) in first 10k ride due to low sidewall profile. Now i upgrade it with Yokohama earth 1 175/65 r15 only upgrade the side profile. I already upgrade it. It won't be change now but the final circumference deviation is 3.06 percent and sidewall is 8.47 percent. Is it fine for Aura sx? Please reply.

I commented here before my posts all disappeared. I apologise for a bit of a language barrier. I am from the USA. I own a 2019 FWd Ecosport with the 1.0L Ecosport. It has the 205/50/17 tires as OEM tires. I drive high mileage and I'm looking for a smoother ride. Those lower profile 17" wheels ride rough. I'd like to upgrade and upsize to 225/50/17 tires and keep the stock wheels. Did you say they are a safe upsize? You mention 3 sizes. 215/50/17, 205/55/17, and 225/50/17. Is the 225/50/17 a safe upsize? I really would like that. Looking at a Goodyear Weather-ready or Goodyear Comfortred tires as replacements.

Bhai need your urgent advice. After spending whole day researching about tyres for my Hyundai i10 Magna Kappa 1.2L (2012 Model) having 155/80 R13 Stock tyres. I have watched countless videos on upsizing. I have finalized 175/65 R14. My main concern with my i10 is its narrower tyres which doesn't provide confidence on highways and turning. My main concern is traction and a Comfy ride that's why I have selected175mm R14 for that. Kept the ratio 65 because that's what the calculator said in range. Please guide me if my understanding is right or not. I have finalized 175/65 R14. Waiting for your reply... 😁

With 165/70/R14 You will have more body roll and you will not get benefit much.. Better go for 185/60/R14 or 175/65/R14...
