I was 18 years old living in South L.A when the riots happened in 1992 it was scary and dark all day due to the smoke in the air and people were running around with tv's, vcr's and stereo systems in shopping carts. I now at 50 years old live in the valley and often think about those dark times
It sounds like a good a movie 🍿I like to watch especially since it takes place in LA during the Rodney King civil unrest 🔥, plus it also takes me back growing up in LA during that era, the only thing however is the clothes and hair style it doesn’t look kinda 90ish and looks more like 2020ish for example Tyrese’s son should have at least either a Gumby hair or a Jheri curl style along with some gold chains just like how the youth use to wear during those days especially since Tyrese’s son in the movie suppose to portray a rebel rouser youth who doesn’t oppose his father’s rules
You are not blk and i currently live here in L,A and lived in the hood during the Riots in 1992 when i was 18. Jeri curls were played out and blk dudes rocked gumby and fade hairstyles
