Not surpised. He made the best with Sacramento and found ways to improve while being a good pro. He's a smart guy and ton of ability. Just scratching the surface.. I like Sabonis a ton, but Haliburton is gonna surpise a lot of folks, which is why fans of him were bullish on him being used to get Sabonis.
As a Golden 1 Center employee........I watched him play live in Sacramento and he was fun to watch!! It was a bummer to see him traded to Indiana, but I wish him all the success. He should be an all star next season
@@brendanhunter389 its fun depending on the event and/or the people you work with. I love working there because of the people I work with. It helped me get used to life in Sacramento because I just moved here from St. Louis almost 3 years ago
@@jasonlovell651 tha he wants too see him with Chris Dort? Doesnt make sense... he should have just said it as it was. Fox was holding you back.... it was either you or him ..they chose Fox
@@thefourfourfour9512 I mean him going to the Pacers with that duo is very promising potentially in the long run. Sac looking for an identity, trading away one of their young pieces is a strange one though.
@@thefourfourfour9512 nah he's saying look how long it's been since the king's have made the playoffs or had a season of significants & that with the potential & talent hali has shouldn't be wasted with the kings
He is one of those guys that can do it all on and off the court. Didn't know much about this guy before this interview but now I am a huge fan. HUGE FAN!
Another thing with Haliburton is that it helps that he's the best player by some distance at the Pacers, which helps everything go through him. If he was at a bigger team like the sixers for example, both his points & assists per game would be a lot smaller obviously. Doesnt take anything away from him man as I'm sure he's gnna be an all star starter and win an MVP one day.
@Whyyoumadatfacts? 🤷♂️ honestly, pacers have always gotten close to beating the top dog but haven't been successful. It all depends how are top draft pick performs. You may be right but as a pacers fan, our future looks so much better from just 2 weeks ago lol
@@matthewm3869 i agree. it's a good thing for him to get out of a shitty market like sac. hopefully the pacers do him better. i mean not that indiana is known for being a good nba market but you get my point
Wow! I've never heard this young man speak, but I'm instantly a fan now! Great, great charisma, very attentive, very thoughtful and knows how to express his thoughts. And that's literally all just OFF THE FIELD stuff. Couple that with his on field gifts, and I see a very, very bright future for this young man! Wish him many successes!!! 🥳💪🏽🔥
@@taylorstewart9479 why is your insecurity making you expose yourself ? You’re assuming he’s impressed because he doesn’t listen to us and thinks that we do not articulate ourselves properly? Take a deep breath champ, real Lords move in silence! This ain’t a battle you should try winning, it’s below you! Let it go!
@@the77th bro like I MYSELF AM BLACK. 🤣🤦🏽♂️ Have zero idea where the fckkkk that even came from. I reread my cmnt. Was there anything in there that implied I was impressed that he could articulate his thoughts as A BLACK MAN? 🤔🤣🤦🏽♂️🤡
Make this kid a broadcaster when he retires. He’s holds himself very well and I can easily see him doing this for a living. Definitely will try to catch more pacers games
This is the first time I've heard Tyrese actually talk, he's a baller and I've been high on him after his rookie season. He's a star in the making and I liked his game, good luck to him in Indy and I hope he keeps balling!
The thing that I thought was interesting is the information from other GMS saying "I thought he was untouchable if I knew he was available I would have sent a trade package" because the other GMS look at him as a really good piece who could make your team insanely good and I have to imagine every other team was thinking de'aaron Fox was on the move and not Tyrese.
6th most playoff wins the last 30years. Team hasn’t picked in the top 10 in as long either. Although never winning it all, Indiana has always put out a good, competitive product and that is something many teams can’t say.
@@justo2640 They were definitely talking about Indiana and they are definitely misinformed about Pacers history. I mean… without Jordan or LeBron, the Pacers probably have multiple titles the past few decades. Not their fault that LeBron, MJ, and Giannis all ended up in their division lol Pacers franchise has probably the worst luck in sports history for this and multiple other circumstances.
Poor Tyrese, he came to Sac and did everything he was supposed to do and he's already becoming a star at 21 years old! There's nothing more he could of done for that organization and this news must of really hurt him, i hope he continues to becoming a great superstar! best of luck TH
God I love this guy. As a Heat fan, there have been very little players are just fun to watch as him the past two seasons. He has such a unique game that translates so well to the modern game, yet is also a very humble dude from what we can see. The future is insane for him man.
He’s going to have to REALLY CONSIDER, after he’s done being an amazing athlete;Tyrese needs to really consider his future in as an analyst like Perk, Richard, Shannon Sharpe, and so many others like. Tyrese got a real good presence about him that I feel he’s got a job for life if he wanted it.
As a kings fan this breaks my heart. He was often the best player on the court. His attitude and love for the city was clear. Another frustrating move from the kings 😤
@@almac9203 pacers usually in the playoffs tho. There’s a reason they barely get any lottery picks because they usually make the playoffs as a low seed
@@ianbent0n It's hard to laugh anymore, my best friend is a Kings fan, and i hate seeing his team make these moves. But I love your guys loyalty, Kings fans are easily the most loyal fans in all of sports.
Whenever I think of the Sacramento Kings, I think of White Chocolate, Webber, Peja, Bibby, Hedo, Vlade and Doug Christie. Those were fun years to watch and I’m not even a Kings fan. That time was over two decades ago. It’s a shame the organization hasn’t given the fans as much to root for since.
That was a great era in basketball. Those battles with the Lakers was so fun to watch. I saw Peja light the Knicks up at the Garden once. I was in awe of how beautiful his jumper was. He was hitting rainbow three’s on my Knick’s!
I know it sucks to have been a real one and committed to a team (wish more players did so), but he's with a champion coach and a competent organization and good for him. He's a real one.
potentially all-nba caliber once he reaches his prime, especially with the pacers developing around him. They always find a way to win around an organizational star
it was so nice to see reese traded - sick player sick dude was stuck on a dumpster fire organization. They messed up trading him and im glad hes up from it.
Congrats to the Pacer fans and organization for landing this guy. I'm a small market guy myself(Portland) and love to see a small market team land a guy like this.
As a Kings fan I was stoked when he fell to us in the draft. Haliburton had a fantastic rookie season and his second he was getting better. I watched every game I could that he played in because he finally bought some excitement to a Kings game. And then Kings management does what kind management does and traded him away to try to get into the play in tournament which doesn't look to be happening. I personally feel Fox should have been traded. His five seasons and he just barely showed glimpses of a great player last year. Should have let Tyrese take the reins. Best of luck to you Tyrese!
What would Milwaukee give up though. Middleton is untouchable, if they wanted to get rid of Jrue they would of in the off-season. There are no assets Milwaukee could give up
He can still be with the sixers. He's got another year on his deal after this year and if the sixers don't win, they can easily trade Tobias, maybe Thybulle, some reserve player like Green or something and a pick for him.
@@springheeledjack165 Oh it can happen mate lol. The Pacers don't have a choice with them being so bad. Haliburton only has 1 more year left after the summer. If the Pacers are still bad and a team like the sixers come calling, I'm sure Haliburton would want the move because he'd still start but for a team that are actually challenging for the championship instead of a team that won't even make the playoffs. Maybe the sixers would have to give 2 first round picks but I believe that with Tobias, Green & Thybulle would be enough for the Pacers to accept if Haliburton ain't adamant on staying
I mean its the teams job. The criticism comes in how the players ask for trades. Ben and Harden are great examples of not fulfilling contractual agreements
Crazy how he was never invited to the show while he was with us in Sac. The minute he leaves to another team, somehow he’s the next coming of Jordan and finally gets invited. The disrespect for us is real
@@chirkotelhin1806 Victim mentality?? 😂😂😂 So if what you’re saying is true….are they inviting Sabonis on the show? I thought that would be the case since he not only is the best player in the trade but HE IS THE MULTIPLE TIME ALL STAR IN THIS DEAL. But since he plays for SAC, that won’t happen. U idiot, u just like the rest of em. Going to bash Sac just because it’s the popular thing to do.
