Forget lack of fire damage on tyrion, why no magical damage? That's the real crime!

Finally, we see some asur dominance in the way thry should deal - small but elite force doing serious shit. Like, Tyrion just must outduel about everyone in straight 1v1 fight, for lorefriendly reason, right? I see that battle and my heart just warming up from seeing the right stuff. Love it ;3

Maybe for flaming weapons like that it could be a unit toggle to 'ignite sunfang' or whatever to give Tyrion his flaming attacks or turn them off 'quench sunfang'. Could be fun, at least with special weapons like that. Given that it was made to fight demons though, innate magical attacks are probably needed at least.

Elf bards will memorialise Tyrion fighting with the Frostheart Phoenix as a Song of Ice and Fire.

It would be so cool if Tyrion could turn flaming attacks on or off. I think mechanics like that would be really interesting.

I think the nurgle player really kept the elves on their toes, but they had some really good tricks up their sleeves. Kudos to both!

I feel like the High Elves are VERY comfortable in smaller more elite battles like this one. Where they struggle is against mass numbers where they simply can't keep up. Vs Nurgle is a good match up for them.

easy fix for the flaming damage thing: just have it bound to an item that you can buy or not buy

You know Tyrion might be a really good anti-chaos dwarves character. Sunfang is nice for clearing the tightly packed infantry, especially considering the chaos dwarves don't have spell resist. And then the fact that Tyrion has flame resist while not having flame attacks is pretty great.

The whole concept of fire damage and resistance clearly needs a rework.

Don't know who skeleton mage is but i'm rooting for him just purely for his name alone.

Suprising to see tiranocs being as good as scourgerunners. You could kind of see nurgle roster's lack of anti-large being an issue here, though I think if the build had less toads and maybe some plague drones that high elf goon squad could've lost their phoenixes.

I can't remember the last time I saw high elf archer chariots in multiplayer

I doubt there is any weapon in the lore of warhammer fantasy, where the use of flamming attacks would make more sense than by Sun-Fang

@Turin Try checking your light reflection (or similar) and SSAO settings for that awful banner glare. Haha that first chariot charge played out more like a drive-by petting zoo.

Tyroin is a real chad's chad

It's always a tough decision going up against nurgle as to whether you bring silverin guard or phoenix guard; the former is much better against the daemonic units as you're not paying for 30% phy res that's just getting bypassed and the spell resist helps, though it would have helped a lot more if it still worked vs magic attacks, however the latter has both AP and the raw stats to trade into chosen, and IIRC nurgle chosen don't have magic attacks so that 30% phy res helps a bunch. At least I don't think they do. It's a real doozy of a choice so I usually just say "fuck it." and I spend all my gold on sisters of avelorn; spear walls are for the weak and timid.

Nurgle needs something to deal with missile chariot.

Huh... Are flaming attacks considered a positive with an approximate gold cost associated? What would be the gold value of an ability that allowed a character like Tyrion to have an at-will "flame on" toggle, so he could turn it off for certain foes and on for others? That'd be kind of an interesting utility.

Doesn't Tyrion have a fuck ton of fire resistance though. Saw a vid of the destroyer doing NOTHING against him, so I doubt he'd struggle against the chorfs

Tyrion not having fire damage with SUNFANG makes no sense. Maybe if you take the sword should give magic damage and fire. No downsides to magic damage now either, fire is a bit worst vs chaos dwarves
