I did not find or create this upload. This was done by a fellow Tyrone Power fan in the USA called Cheryl Lynn some 5 years ago. I now upload this rare clip for fellow fans to view and enjoy.
This video is a gem. I enjoyed it so much because I'm an uncondicional admirer of Mr. Power. I love when he introduces the maid. He looks her with great kindness and affection. He was a nice man, kind and generous to all the people who worked with him. I love him always and forever. Thank you for uploading this.
This was fantastic! I always consistently read about how generous and kind Tyrone Power was as a person and get that sense from this video. Really one of the all time greats.
Thank you so much for showing this episode. So good to see the measure of the man. Mr. Power, indeed, a gentleman in a ways, so erudite, kind and eloquent. Yes, it is somewhat gratifying to see Americans presented in this manner. And, Mr.Morrow conducting the interview in such a dignified and comprehensive manner. My, how much 'class' has been lost..
This video let's you know Tyrone Power⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ wasn't just movie star how he did so much theatre plays Was very intellectual good humoured ang had no ego yeah he was a good person⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What a gem to find. I long admired Tyrone Power and to have a glimpse into the gentleman and down to earth person he was just makes enjoying his films even more! Thank you for posting!!!
My brother went to Purcell High School in Cincinnati where Mr Power graduated in 1921. I know Tyrone was a world traveler but I can see Cincinnati in him! So sad he died so young
Tyrone Power smoked 3 to 4 packs of cigarettes a day. Murrow was also smoking during the interview. Dangers of smoking weren't really known until almost 10 yrs later. Tyrone was a classy and really decent man.
LOVELY TO SEE THIS VIDEO OF THE GORGEOUS -- TYRONE POWER -- R.I.P. HOW SAD TO KNOW IT WAS 11 MONTHS HE DIED WHILE MAKING THE MOVIE " SOLOMON & SHEBA" IN ROME HE HAD A HEART ATTACK ----- I SAW THE STILLS OF THE TIME IT ALL HAPPENED ------ I WAS SO UPSET. THEY TOOK SHOTS AS HE KEALED OVER IN HIS COSTUME. ---- HOW COULD THEY ???? HOWEVER, I ADORED ALL HIS MOVIES !!!!!! THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO ANY CHANCE OF UP DATING ???? FROM U.K.
He seems to have been a very nice man. I really enjoyed this old interview! It's sad to think that he died of a massive heart attack one year later...only 44 years old...2 months before his only son was born. Trivia: he made TV ads for the American Heart Association...shortly before he died of his massive heart attack.
