This kid runs his interviews like a seasoned vet. I'm VERRRRY impressed. I saw the flashes, in preseason like everybody else. I've been quietly waiting to see how he would navigate a tape week. The play AND the presser says ALOT about the kid. I like it. I like it, alot. ✊🏽🐻⬇️ -Poise -Confident -Humble -Level-Tempered -Swaggy Bro said "I got a cannon" in the humblest/flexiest way ever 😅. Then said "Coach was [NICE ENOUGH] to give him" a game ball. In the same presser. You humble Goat 😆.

Kid looked calm and confident in his first game with prep with 1s, let him play a few more games, he earned it and we all need to see it.

This kid just flat out knows how to play, knows how to read the entire field, and most importantly, makes plays quickly when he needs to and doesn't dilly dally around like Fields. He will be a franchise somewhere no doubt about it, hopefully the Bears are smart enough to keep him.

His father is a world renowned arm wrestler. A true world champion. He distilled the drive and maturity into this young man.

He showed a lot of poise and efficiency. Good on him man. He should be proud. Bear Down! This is the first time in my life that we've had a backup QB that wasnt 1000 years old, so even when Fields comes back, I hope the Bears keep and develop him because clearly hes got a good head on his shoulders. And his family was there too! Wow, what a first game. Bear Down Bagent Family!

Nice to hear an obviously intelligent QB at our press conference. Its been awhile since we have had really smart kid. Honestly McMahon was the last kid i remember with this intelligent and confidence. Would love it if he succeeded here.

I've been a bear fan since the 80's . I've only seen 2 QB's show Supreme confidence and execute the offense smoothly. J. McCown & T. Bagent. I think the bears found their " Brock Purdy "
