The problem is, Tyson is in so many hidden places. I think they supply most chicken nuggets to the restaurant chains like McDonalds that you may not give them any money at the home dinner plate, but every time you go out, I'll bet there's something on your plate or in the bag that comes from Tyson Foods. Remember Tyson isn't just chicken!

@@brucetowell3432false. Actually, in much of the country men digging ditches are American workers. And in California and other places where they are mainly Latino, many are Mexican American and not just immigrants. Ditch diggers (Construction laborers) are also not paid "very well" in most places. Yes they make well above minimum wage, but they are hardly highly paid either for the most part, generally making a lower middle class wage at best.

It's deindustralization and consolidation. The majority of those being laid off are migrant workers themselves but a large minority are US born American workers as well.

What's interesting is that if you added up "total compensation" for the top Executives, it's equal to around ~$40 MILLION in cash and non-cash compensation. Surprisingly a small amount. The estimated median employee salary is nearly $42,000 so what are they planning to pay these "migrants"?! Also IF there are about ~120K employees and you figure in the ~$42K which does not specify "benefits included" so that's only ~$5.4 BILLION in employee salary which is only around 10% of the revenue. IF we add another 5% for benefits, that's ~$8.5 BILLION in total employee compensation which means ~$45 BILLION remains for other business expense/profit & yet they're firing American workers & hiring "migrants"?!

A lot of my local farmers grow chickens for Tyson. I hate Tyson made this decision that will no doubt hurt their growers . But I will not but anything with the Tyson brand. They should have payed attention to the Bud Light Boycott.
