Fury proved himself the better fighter, no doubt. But it didn't matter how much you were all in for Tyson Fury or for Deontay Wilder, when these three fights were over you loved and respected them both the same. That's how epic and unforgettable the Fury/Wilder trilogy is.
@@kiboma4209 I think wilders breakdown after the rematch was inevitable. He had a decent amateur career, and then an overly extended run knocking out lower class opposition. However when that freakish power started to work in title fights against better opposition it was clear he was both running his own corner, and camp, whilst totally intoxicated on his image as a phenom destroyer. The silence in wilders corner was eerie. It was like nobody had ever told wilder what to actually do in camp, so kept their mouths shut when things turned south. Being quiet when he was cleanly losing fights but not hurt is one thing. Being silent when cleanly losing and being beaten up is another. So wilder had a meltdown during and after the rematch. "this isn't supposed to happen. People can outbox me but they should always be fearful enough not to head on attack me?" If a fighter succumbs to a dream world, they end up waking up to a nightmare. I want wilder to retire. He's too old to change now, and far too rich to be motivated. He looked like he was on valium against Parker. A corner truly being in charge of events is very important. The second don king fired Samuel peters main corner from talking he was toast. Even wladimir was never ever the same without Emanuel steward.
Lets be honest here, wilder had 1 good round (first round) and had to knockdowns in round 4, after that he was absolute trash, just showed he can take a beating, his punches after that had so little power in them that fury wasnt even trying to block or defend them...
@@Adam-g-ukis that why in round 10 in the final seconds fury legs buckled and he almost went down but wilder didn’t step to the right when he landed his right hand
@@kgmanio7786why surprised ? We did watch the fight. Maybe you didnt or maybe your eyes need to be cleaned or just maybe you need to get off Wilder's nut. Wilder was gassed out as from the 5th round, he was already wobbling and f*ked completely. Fury punished the guy in each round from the 5th to the 11th round consecutively. He was getting devastating jabs and right punches to the face for 7 rounds. Wilder won only the 3rd and the 4th round. First round was equal and 2nd round goes to Fury. Then the 5th to the 11th round, it was just punishment rounds onto Wilder. Fury is just levels higher than Wilder and this fight was just so obvious. No excuses at all here.
The way Wilder was still able to find his second and third wind after being knocked down and beat up at the end of the 10th showed incredible perseverance and tenacity.
Um, Fury showed more "incredible perseverence and tenacity" after being dropped twice and then getting back and bombing the bomber until he couldn't get back up. Fury had more endurance too. Just better all around.
Deontay is probably the hardest puncher I’ve ever seen. Tyson was in that discussion as well. Fury has done what no other heavyweight has done fighting Wilder three times. Most heavyweights are avoiding both Fury and Wilder.
He punches like a sissy. Lowered elbow and hitting with a flat hand like a ghetto woman lol. He's not all that tbh. He wouldn't be a name in the 1990s and that's a fact. Fury is just the result of crap era of boxing.

Both men?? Dude Wilder lost all 3 times, what are you talking about. The 3rd fight was not needed AT ALL. Just because a fat Fury came into the 3rd doesn't mean it was more competitive. Fury didnt take that 3rd fight seriously and it showed AND HES STILL BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF WILDER. Wilder is one of the most overrated HW's in history.
The coverage of the fight by the media and the announcers were both pro Wilder. Always 1st in his corner in between rounds, many times stayed there...never heard a word about blows behind the head from Wilder, but you heard a ton of "that was a slow count" and all that. Easily the better fighter is Tyson, epic fight tho.

Watched live, watched several times over since then, and still believe this to be the best trilogy of all time. Definitely of my time. Epic fight trilogy!
Same. It's the best trilogy I've ever watched in the last 30 years, but obviously I wasn't alive yet when the classic trilogies like Ali vs Frazier were fought. The only other trilogy I've seen live was Gatti vs Ward, which was pretty close to this.
I truly hope all boxing fans but especially Brits appreciate what an absolute warrior Fury is as well as a consummate boxer, for a guy his size, the way he shifted his feet and stance to finally finish off Wilder was just boxing from the gods. When this Phenomenal finally hangs up his gloves I hope he is truly recognised as one of the greatest heavyweights ever
I come from north-east Wales, a short trip from Manchester, all-time favourite Lennox Lewis, but then probably after that Joe calzaghe , but Tyson Fury has got the heart of a Celtic lion🏴🇬🇧🏴
Gotta love Lennox Lewis reaction to every big punch! Dude is the former Heavyweight Champ, one of the best to ever do it, Knocked out Mike Tyson, and still he's just like "Oooo" when he sees some good action.
Absolutely he also isn't bias like Ward, you could tell Ward wanted Wilder to win the fight. You could definitely see it when they showed their reactions to the final knock down and Ward looked devastated. Professional Announcers aren't supposed to bring any bias to the call of the fight.
He knows how to do color commentary. That’s what he’s paid for. Andre looked and sounded like he had a hundred thousand on Wilder. I’ve never seen a guy at a table calling a fight look so bored or depressed at the walk-off moment of an epic title fight. Wilder has leaned into some racial rhetoric in the past. I wouldn’t be surprised if some people gravitated to that. For some reason it’s tolerated if it’s aimed at white dudes.
Great fight! One has to appreciate the heart of Wilder. Exhausted and hurt but never gave up. Reaching within himself to keep going. Win or lose..the true heart of a champion❤
He REALLY did. He took a lot of heavy shots and refused to give up. The only regrets I have are the nasty comments from Wilder fans about cheating and some of the comments from Wilder himself. He let himself go with some stuff, he fought like a true champ and his performance in the ring showed he has the skills, spirit and courage to be a real champ. His words were nasty but I guess this is boxing and it happens. It's hard to believe someone could have so much determination that they won't go down and remain a danger but thats exactly what Wilder did. Two true champs who gave the boxing world some great fights. Stay safe Shane! Hope you're good bud and best of luck in future :)

This fight was amazing. Fury’s a tank, and his fitness is underrated because he’s not as lean as Wilder. Both men have a champion’s heart. Wilder has nothing to be ashamed about, although the loss is disappointing for him. Most men would have lost way sooner. This match was unpredictable until the final moment. Wow.
Unpredicatable till the end ?? Did we watch the same fight ? Cause i saw Wilder win only the 3rd and the 4th round and Fury punished Wilder from the 5th to the 11th round with devastating jabs and right punches to the face. Wilder was lost and wobbly and didn't answer back to Fury in any of those 7 rounds.

Yoooo, this is one of the best fights I've ever seen. Two warriors placing everything on the line, the resiliency of both fighters slugging it out, giving every less breath, both wanting it like their life depended on it 💪 Fury is huge, so he's at a disadvantage regarding endurance. Wilder needs to stop heavy lifting, too much muscle, that's why he gets so tired very quickly. He would be better to fight at 215 to 220. I would love to see a 4th fight!
No, you're wrong, what Wilder needs to do it stop trying to use what little brain power he has. He does not have the mental capacity to think and move his arms and legs at the same time. Guy was, is and always will be a chump that cherry picked 41 milkmen to fight and made the mistake of believing his own hype.
This is the best heavyweight fight of our era. Both men left it all on that ring. Wilder kept fighting back and was able to push forward against a better fighter, proving once and for all he's a true champion with the heart of a lion. Fury just proved he's the complete package in the ring. Big, strong, quick and fast, heavy but very athletic, can move in every direction and box with clean fundamentals, and also punch in so many different ways. His jab and defensive abilities are elite, and also knows how to make it a dirty fight if he needs to. They were the perfect dancing partner for each other and even tho we all thought this third fight didnt make much sense, Wilder deserved the chance to regain his title and it ended up being the perfect end for a trilogy and their best fight out of the three.
While this is also a great fight, I think the first stands above it as the best modern heavyweight bout. The ending was also more shocking and way less predictable
As good as this fight was, Wilder looked ready to go for the last several rounds. I dont know if its exhaustion or just the damage. Commentators kept acting like both of them were on their last legs but Fury looked fine throughout most of the fight. Wilder doesn't seem to recover very well after he gets hurt. He keeps trying though, TONS of heart. But I think he could have at least taken this the distance if he could have recovered a bit.
@@ekibirigeable ...Emanuel Stewart talked about this WEIGHT issue (and it is an issue) on HBO for years before and after the Klitschko brothers & Lennox Lewis (who were all trained by him from one time or another) were on the scene.
There are a lot of things to say, so, just to mention one: there's a mental aspect in which Fury was upon Wilder maybe from the very beginning, and that is the concentration and discipline of Fury, he's always _in_ the fight, always hunting, always hunting, he doesn't distract for a second, even when receiving punches or going to the floor, he's always in the look for another shot. Remembering Ali when talking about Foreman's fight: _this is no place to get tired_ , more or less. Great fighters, but Fury is a natural beast.
Barrera, Morales, Marquez and Pac trilogies are better in terms of boxing. But this one was amazing too and for it to be with the big guys made it extra special.
The best heavyweight trilogy of all time is Bowe/Holyfield. If you think this triology is better then that you’re not into competitive boxing. In opinion Tyson Fury won all three of these fights even though first one was a draw. Wilder only has one chance at winning and that’s by knockout he doesn’t have much of a skill set and he cannot take a punch. Tyson fury is not a big puncher and he knocked him out twice. I guess it’s possible that you mean the greatest fights that you were able to watch live. You can experience those three fights on RU-vid though which I’ve done many many times and I highly recommend it.
@@Gogeta2501 I'd still be interested in seeing a 4th if Wilder comes in around 220. Although at this point I feel like it would be potentially unsafe in the long run for both of them to fight each other.

@@Boxing_Gamer - You don't understand boxing at all. Clinching is used to nullify an opponent from moving around, and you tire them out by making them carry your weight as they try to free themselves, which uses even more of their energy. Fury clinched the shit out of Wilder due to the fact Wilder hops onto his lead foot to generate the power that his straight right hand down the pipe generates. Fury would be an idiot to give Wilder space to lance his head off again like he did in their first fight. This shows Fury's fight IQ and his willingness to learn from his own mistakes.
