Tyson Gay was ready for Bolt at the Moscow 2013 world championship. It's a shame he tested positive for drug use. He was banned for a while after this race, and was never the same

Ato Boldon doing his thing if creating hype. If one thing we always knew is that Tyson could never be the guy to beat Usain's WR. For one, Tyson was a great finisher, but not as great as Usain. So Tyson would have to improve on his start drastically enough to compensate for the slower finishing phase of the race. And that was just not possible, not only because Tyson was not a great starter, but because Usain was also the fastest 0-60 m guy
Why these commentators interview sprinters right after a race makes no sence. The guys are still catching their breathes, dammit give them a breather jassas!
Why is it that so often, someone pulls a muscle in these races? They go through all their practices throughout the year, without injury, only to pull a muscle an actual race? Do they not stretch enough before hand? I say this as someone that ran track in high school (hurdles) and I don't recall it being a regular occurrence that someone pulled a muscle in races, like I see so often at the international level.
I remember watching this race in 2013 and seeing how good of shape and form that Tyson looked. It was sad that he tested positive for a PED. He said that he trusted someone and was let down. He should have known that ANY substance that you put in or on your body as a professional track athlete needs to be checked out. There just isn’t any excuse.
Yes they have , he is not undefeated - I believe at least all of the top10 sprinters from 2009 -2019 beat him at least once or more in a big race competition !
The whole world n Bolt knows that if Tyson Gay ran Moscow 2013 Bolt would've lost. If anyone was to beat Bolt fair n square by a few meters it would be Tyson Gay..
also bolt did a 9.77 in the rain in moscow. What if there was no rain in thw final. Bolt woild have definwly dod a faster time. Also hotk woild have easilt beaten tyson gay in the 200. Gatlin was not a competition to bolt in 2013
Gatlin being Gatlin. He lost (at the time nobody knew Gay was on the juice) to a guy in Gay who ran (at the time) faster than Gatlin had ever ran and what does Gatlin say? I was injured, even had the bandage around his neck so that the excuse becomes more convincing... Also he beat Bolt the week prior.. . Yeah right, he beat a version of Bolt that was out of shape. Then, some time after this race, he faced a more in shape Bolt and guess what happened... He was beaten easily. To me bragging about beating Usain while running a 9.8 ish is nothing to brag about. Come brag when you beat an in shape Usain...
@@ninad6787 I thought the same. I read something where it seemed it was more than that. He accused the coach of giving him some other drugs. It was discussed in some lawsuit
