Here are my unboxing and initial thoughts on the U-Go Plein air easel by New Wave Art. It seems like a well-built and versatile easel. With the glass insert and side expansions, it is not the lightest but should work well for hiking and painting. I am taking it on a two-week painting excursion in Glacier Park to test it out.
