We need this in the NFL probowl.

This is the closest we'll get to American football being an Olympic sport if that ever happens

this would be a perfect for an olympic event, low risk injuries (parents would be willing to let their children participate leading to more fans), easy to understand and follow along, gives people from other countries a chance to play football, and very entertaining

Nfl needs to have a celebrity game version of this.

It feels like American football's international interest rises with each passing year. I know there's still a long way to go before making it an international sport but I love how the NFL is trying to spread the game to other countries

1 - I hope they accept the NFL bid to make this an Olympic sport, 2 - NFL should have there own celebrity game on pro-bowl weekend and make it a flag football game

Fun fact: I played against Darrell Doucette at Nationals at Southern Miss University when he was at Xavier (Louisiana) in 2010. I was our pass rusher - quickest player on our team. He absolutely humiliated me that day. I played for a small community college in GA and had no business being on the field with him. Watching him humiliate some of the Italian players makes me feel much better!

Flag Football should be an Olympic sport. It would quickly become one of the most popular team sports at the Olympic games.

If that Italian QB sees this, we have a XFL team in Vegas and I really love them and don't want to lose them, if you could play for the vipers and take us to to the playoffs or win a championship, you could probably save us.

I played alot of flag football throughout my years and can say those big boys with long arms can snag those passes. Also, they are good at positioning themselves in bound. As a defender, you can't do much but hope they drop the ball.

Flag football is honestly the ideal form of gridiron football for international competition, at least for now. The US (and Canada to some extent, and to an even lesser extent Australia and maybe the countries where Rugby is popular, but my point stands I think) has kind of an innate advantage internationally until the sport grows. We have an entire country of teens growing up playing youth, high school and college football, plus the NFL. So tackle football is just going to be a slaughter. But flag football kind of evens the playing field so that any big athletic guy from any country can stand a chance.

Make it 7 on 7 and two hand touch instead of flag grabs and you’ve got something the world would love.
