In this video we take a side-by-side comparison and show you the difference between the 1st & the 2nd pattern OG (olive green) 108 uniform field shirt that was made for the Korean War. This wool/nylon shirt was made to be used in combat as well as the field. Thanks for watching the web gear review

Thanks for showing. I just got my hands on 2 of these shirts. Now I can see clearly that I bought the 2 different patterns.

Thanks WGG! Interesting they made pockets smaller and collar one layer. I assume less material per item equals more items out of a specific amount of material.

Why do some of the pattern 1 have the label in a reddish stencil?

Thank you for interesting video. I have both versions of this wool shirts. Generally speaking, in my comparison of my items, later version is cheaper than 1st version.

I think thats generally the way military gear goes through production. If you look at something like the N3B Parkas, they originally had 100% wool interlining and a real animal fur hood trim but in later productions the interlining was replaced with polyester and had an acrylic fur hood trim. Generally if the same usefullness could be gotten out of an item for cheaper the item gets simplified and gets cheaper

Recently got an older pattern shirt that has a smooth nylon strip sewn in at the the collar where it touches your neck. Field mod or standard issue variation?
