“During her watch, NOT A SINGLE SOLDIER DIED.” But she lost a leg in service of humans. She deserves our salute and love. Thank God for dogs! *shedding soldier tears*
Marines are not soldiers, that’s the US Army… confusing soldiers with Marines is a common mistake. The family of every military service member is thankful, whether it’s Marines or soldiers; she’s a war hero & deserves the upmost respect!🇺🇸
I salute you from across "The Pond". From an American Veteran. With the way things are going on in the world especially in Europe. I have a feeling British and American forces will be teaming up again (the 10th time now) to fight a common enemy within the next 3-5 years. I pray I'm wrong.
Thank you very much and for your service to. Brothers in Arms, shoulder to shoulder. I think you are right, there is another War on the horizon. I feel the tension in Britian. I pray too that it doesn't. Semper Fi Brother
Our family adopted a retired bomb sniffer shepherd. His name was Black Hawk. We called him Hawk for short. He protected my kids and filled our household with great memories and love.
Bravery, courage, loyalty, honor and valor, these traits don't apply to just our two legged troops but their four legged comrades as well, friends, confidants, heroes, there are so many words to describe Lucca's commitment but one sentence says thank you in more ways than one, Semper Fi Marine!
I rescued an abused Maliki is, after months of spoiling him he's the best dog I've ever had. We spend 24/7 together. He's not only smart, very loving and protective he just a joy to be with. I LOVE him. His name is Ranger and he's made my life sooo Mic g better
I've had watched about war dog's film (years ago)that many of them were left in Vietnam and even couldn't adopt by soldiers...that really broke my heart(so happy for her~)
Policy on military service dogs has changed. They are no longer allowed to be left behind. They serve until they are no longer able, then they are adopted by handlers or former handlers.
The PDSA is a wonderful charity ,they saved the lives of two dogs I had at different times.I will always be grateful to them. The fact that the charity started the dicken medal is awesome.
The Coldstream Guards are some of the funniest musicians ever. When the Saudis came to visit they played the "Imperial Soundtrack" song from Star Wars. God they are the best thing about Britain.
I guess the thumbs down are obviously NOT Soldiers nor have been in combat on a mission where the soldier next to you has a military dog who sniffs out a bomb that was 2feet from where you were standing Perhaps you might volunteer at the Veterans hospital I honor those military soldiers and their partners for keeping us safe A Marine’s wife
This is why I love and respect dogs they love us even more and their bravery is beyond limit. People that hurt dogs are the lowest form of human. Sweet babies. Mans best friend.
I love GSDs and have been a proud pack leader of one for 9 years now. I am also a former Marine and would have loved to be a K9 handler. Semper Fi Lucca and enjoy your retirement. You've earned it more than most humans.
God's greatest gift to mankind was giving us Dogs. I believe that. They are capable of great powerful things but friendship I'd is greatest gift. I love animals but I hold dogs closest of all. I miss my bulldog Gimli, terribly. There is no replacement when you have a great friend
Only a marine soldier could have done for this dog his best friend for saving other soldiers' lives the dog was still enjoyed the rest of his life with his master a proud Marine no one else could have done this I give them a five star and wish them the best of luck for the rest of their lives ❤️💯🇺🇸👍⭐
LUCCA still won't Quit even with 3 Legs.....The neighbors Dog a Redish Golden Lab lost his Rear leg and came over almost every Day.....He spent more time with me than he did at home even with 4 kids to play with at home.....He spent the Night when it was Snowing and the neighbors didn't even come looking for him...He jumped up in my Recliner and watched TV for hours.....I've had both Hips replaced and Both Shoulders Replaced as well....I think he knew I was Disabled too..... His name was Remington...I called him TRIPOD..... TRIPOD Died from some Complications from Diabetes....I was Glad to have REMINGTON in my life for 5 to 6 Years.

I grew up with a 3 legged Rhodesian ridgeback. Who my grandfather got for me as a young kid. Unfortunately my grandfather passed away 3 days ago.September 3rd 2019 , Im saying this because he was a lifer in the USMC ret. As a. [E9]Master Gunnery Sergeant. Serving most of his career with 1st bat , 2nd Marine dev. He adopted me as a child and because he was almost always deployed he got " lucky the 3 legged puppy " for me. Both of them were my best friends and will never be forgotten. RIP . Master Gunnery Sergeant , M. Hughes. [ POPPA ] Semper Fidelis. We will regroup where ever we wind up.
This wonderful, beautiful, smart and brave dog,who was on such a difficult mission deserved the greatest honor.Great respect hero 💚🐾🐾Great respect and memory Lucca 🕊️🕯️ rest in peace 🥀 I wish all the best from 🇵🇱
RIP and many many thanks LUCCA for your love, loyalty and great courage in helping our men and women who serve under OUR FLAG. So many brave dogs since WW1 gave their lives for our men and women in uniform. Yet sadly after ww2, thousands of our K9 soliders were killed or allowed to perish by themselves, just like the billions of $$$ worth of ammor, material left to rot in place or dumped into the oceans. We must ensure all of our K9 officers are retired to their handlers and allowed to enjoy a fine life for the rest of the time they have. Pax+
