I watched this already a couple of days ago. This morning I woke and I had a strange burning desire; I just had to see Lucca again to brighten up my day. I think she's adorable. It's brilliant to see x-handlers adopting them once their service has finished.

Luca is a wonderful dog. I'm so glad she saved solder Rodriguez (I apologize, did not hear his rank) and is happy reunited and retired with her loving family. Great thanks to all who serve, of whatever species.

Lucca's story broke my heart and healed it at the same time. I am so thankful that his handler at the time of the casualty was there for Lucca ALL the time right until the end. I am even more thankful that Lucca was able to retire with her trainer. What a wonderful ending to a tragic story. I am so thankful that these beautiful war-dogs are treated like fellow marines with the same respect and honour they deserve

This dog does the dirty work that the soldiers don't want to do. That's why this dog has this job. I don't like the concept but I love the respect that these soldiers have for there fellow comrades. This dog deserves all the respect it can get.

Why can't you guys see this dog is happy, working (a working breed), loved, enormously cared for, and honored. Yes, she was badly injured, but look at the incredible response of the human(s) who were responsible for her. Thanks for posting this, whoever posted it. I'm still wiping my eyes and blowing my nose. Bless Lucca and all the other canine "soldiers", and the individuals who handle them so beautifully.

Thank God the military has wised up and now do not put MWDs down just because they get injured or too old. When I was an active duty MWD handler they put my dog down just because he turned 14. That was the rule then. I almost got court martialed over it.

Pups like these guys are as my bestie friends of all time always except for the other a use that occured.where to as i can't stand there issues as Also it's not warefate that grandeur me or that forte me not it's about the attributes of worship and isn't co sideted loved.lts just as it.and means meyhammed to others.so this difference is also taken into reterospect and justice vailed the ele.y continent and ñossi le me tions to. It why would you send him into that and why would you take the that reason into the less of filed option also.and did roses come to pass and the contingent is the forte at all times i think.and privacy is always an issue but if Privacy between individuals can not be at any time then why be there.and the when can you be abilitied to be able to.and going tou ch isn't an option due to intellectual issues also and some others.
