Talk to 50+ former Marines and aak about what they went through when they enlisted Ask about the various jobs Ask about benefits and what to do when you leave service Ask about life planning and financial planning Contact various Veteran's Assistance groups about planning Go to a local recruiting station with all the information gathered and interview the Recruiter about everything you learned. Have a lawyer or experienced Advisor check whatever you need to sign. Enlist Make the most of your time in the Corps. Treat your body kindly and preserve your joint health and stress the best you can. Leave a better person than when you entered. Remember the meaning of what you did and remember that it was just a Job - what you did in it is what defines you as a person. Never be afraid to reach out to others who have walked in your footsteps for help.

@@ProjecthuntanFish Sure they can. Tanks in a near-peer conflict are being assessed and potentially vastly unused due to the Ukraine conflict proving it's lack of effectiveness. Air superiority, drones at the squad or even fireteam level, and giving your men the cability to blow structures aswell as vehicles (Carl Gustaf being fielded as the standard) is proving to be more effective without the logistical nightmare of tanks. Tanks are huge targets that are very limited to terrain. Especially the terrain the US is looking to fight in in the future. The Corps specifically outlined these objectives and fielding proposals. It works.
