U.S. ARMY SIGNAL CORP LS-3 LOUDSPEAKER used in Jeeps Tanks Tube Radio Receivers back in 1943-1945. I got to to admit it is weird to hear "Drops of Jupiter" by the band "Train" coming through it!!
@@TubesValves hi, I’ve since found out the socket is a JK-88 and the plug is a PL-68 or PJ068 but an equivalent is the Neutrik NP3CM-B which are aircraft microphone plugs. 5.2mm compared to the usual 6.35mm standard phono plugs and patches. Thanks for the reply
@@TubesValves indeed. I was lucky as the BC348 is obviously still quite popular and well documented. Beautiful receiver and I managed to buy an FT-154-C mounting plate today too. Made by RCA as my other plate is Stromberg Carlson. Just need to find the even more elusive PL-P103 or PL-Q103 8 pin Jones plugs that mounts on the plate but I know that these are super rare..... I may be some time.... all the best my dear friend and hopefully people will see a video on my restored BC348 soon (just one video on my channel so far)
