"Polybius is an urban legend that emerged in early 2000, concerning a fictitious 1980s arcade game. The legend describes the game as part of a government-run crowdsourced psychology experiment based in Portland, Oregon, during 1981. Gameplay supposedly produced intense psychoactive and addictive effects in the player."

@@trozmus The GB stands for Gameboy, like the console, which would explain the chiptume style of the song. During the premiere, as this song started, Camellia said "hold on let me get my gameboy" or something along those lines, confirming this

For anyone who hasn't seen Ahoy's video on Polybius, I highly recommend it, he basically goes through proving it never existed. Not trying to take anything away from the song, its still amazing, just wanted to throw it out there for anyone who doesn't know what Polybius is or the legend behind it (or still only knows the rumors of it)

You may be unsatisfied about the 4:08 and not 3:57, but the song actually ends at 3:57 and has what I assume is to be credits, that little jingle at the end. I like to think that polybuis is actually a slow paced, slightly boring game, that was made much more hardcore from a speed run, if you know what I mean. Kind of like Tetris at a really high level vs a low level. I don’t think the end credits are counted in the speed run, either

tbf polybius isnt a boring game, polybius is actually a urban legend, a game that doesnt exist (only existed in the late 19's) players of the game actually got addicted to it because on how its graphics was outstanding for the time.
