Aw.... really? 8( I don't think so. I know some people are criticizing U2 for playing without Larry.... but I think they're sad not to be playing. Leaving the music behind. And I'm sure it was a hard decision made with Larry's input. Maybe I'm totally wrong but.... can't imagine Edge and Bono and Adam sitting on their hands, retiring to go garden and bird watch (not that there's anything wrong with those hobbies, but not what these musicians want to do). That's my two cents anyway.
@@katharinenoble1682 I think they should continue to make music, just challenge themselves more, rather than get a "hit" on the charts. They haven't followed their artistic impulse fully since "Pop."
It's interesting seeing the guy ask them what was next after Rattle And Hum, knowing that in 3 years, they were going to chop down the Joshua Tree with Achtung Baby.
That Woman at 7:25 - 7:35 who asked the question about '25 Years Time', I wonder if shes still around now, but its 22 Years now since this Interview took place and her question has been very nearly answered.. they're still in the business and as big as ever!
'Cause they care more about selling records nowadays than creating great music. Right now, they've gone off the original mission of writing more original non-mainstream music because NLOTH didn't hit the charts enough. U2 is not as it was.
