Great song 👍 I love u2 in all decades. from the eighties until now. Not many bands can match the continuous development they have had. I've seen them live 7 times by the way 🙂

There are indeed very good songs on this record. 'Every eye looking every other way, counting down til the pain will stop' is one of those cynical zingers Bono gets onto every record

Seen the band 20 times, with the most recent at The Sphere in late September. I think this song would be an excellent one to perform there... But this track is so richly layered that it deserves a careful listening with good headphones.

Wow! This album scored a 71 on Metacritic, 3.5 on AllMusic, and 4.2 from Pitchfork. But Blender, Q, and Rolling Stone all gave it 5 stars. I didn't know where my audience was going to be on this one. I really appreciate your comment.

8 times! that's the same amount as me! Subscribed! u2 fan for almost 40 years, this is one of their best. They reunited with Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois and made and album that was their last good one. This song, amazing, check out the live version from Glastonbury.

Growing up I never really got into U2. I’m Irish and one of my friends went to see them play numerous times, just never really interested me at the time.I liked a few songs. I’m nearly 50 now & over the past 4or years I grown to really enjoy there music. Just had me thinking didn’t they do other a song about drugs specifically heron? I want to say bullet in the blue sky, but could be totally wrong? Thanks for your reaction sir. 👍☘️

You know… Songs of Innocence AND Songs of Experience are fantastic albums. I wish you and other people would stop shitting on them. Songs of Experience is second favorite album next to Achtung Baby. Why don’t you actually listen to the albums instead of just listening to a few singles and calling it shit.

You misunderstood me sir. I like Songs Innocence. My favorite song is Sleep Like a Baby Tonight. I'm a little cooler to Songs of Experience.. To say I'm shitting on them is projection. With that said, thanks for watching. I'm just saying that No Line on the Horizon is their last "great" album. That's a fair statement and just my opinion. Hope we can reconcile and you'll stay with the channel.

I have always disliked Bono's voice whose emotiveness I find contrived, which means there's not much of U2 I enjoy. There were one or two songs I enjoyed around Achtung Baby/ Zooropa and that's about it. It's become an ingrained prejudice after hearing them far too much on the '80s and early 90s, so I can't really give them a fair hearing.
