Fabulous show. Best ever. We were there on the floor in the first few rows and they were electric. None of us cared about the mistakes or even noticed because they were so incredible and ZOOTV was so mindblowing. I've seen them on every tour since 1981 and this is still the very best.

This was only the third time they played New Year's Day after Until the End of the World. Looking at this point of the leg they played 4 concerts in 5 nights. Explains it all!

Yeah, they messed up quite a bit in this video. I love it, it shows that they're not perfect. I always liked this song cuz I think it's cool how Edge plays both the keyboards and the guitar pretty much at the same time. Heck, I can barely walk and talk at the same time!

well they werent drunk ,adam , larry and bonos ear piece were working to the click track which is alot louder than the gutiar track that goes through the ear phones , edges were not in sync thats why the band kept focusing in edge to help him through

When bono starts his vocals this is in the same level as the click track sound wise, thats why he shouts 1234 to help edge , not all bands are piss heads read u2 by u2

The DC RFK stadium show from 8/16/1992 was pro-shot by the U2 camp, I think for a concert film. I have the audio version of this show which is awesome, however it does have countless mistakes by the band!. I'd bet that's why it was never released. :-(

I'm a huge U2 fan, but this has got to be the sorriest live version of any song I've ever heard. None of the band members are in remotely the same time zone. They look distracted and not into the show at all. Bono is singing all over the place. It just shows that even one of the best bands in the world has a bad night.

Start on second 40 and then it happens on 42, you'll see. Look at BONO's face and look at The Edge jump like that.

Don't you just love the mistakes!! Makes a good change seeing all the overpolished and over produced crap they've put out recently. This DC concert had a quite a few visual mistakes (I have it somewhere). Adds to the ZOO TV experience. Larry shouting one more bar to Adam at the start, Edge not knowing whether to play the next part of the intro and Adam completely forgetting the notes for the end of the verse so Edge is telling him it's 'A' (1:41). Just goes to show they're only human. :-)

So who was off on the change? The Edge? Is that why Bono said 1,2,3,4 to put him back in place?

I like the DC Zoo show. The looseness of it is very refreshing. The band makes some mistakes but they still put on a great show. Most of the crowd is drunk anyway.

It's just my opinion, but remember that "new year's day" replaced "....ride your wild horses" at the last minute because they couldn´t play the song well, they probably didn't have time for reheasals, and after three years of playing and recording only the acthung songs...... they almost forget it. new years day always replaced songs, in popmart replaced "if god will send his angels"

weird i've seen footage 4rm the rest of this gig and its gr8 this however is terrible lots of things cud have been wrong, sound, in ear monitors, r genuine mistakes cos they hadnt played this song r others earlier in the tour was all actung baby and joshua tree

0.10 larry!!! larry confused adam and edge and they did the second mistake 0.35... but edge wanted a solo mistake 0.42... bono tried to make up these mistakes with a little opera 1.09... though, adam was jealous of edge's solo mistake and he decided to make a bigger one and to confuse all the band 1.30... but bono was still there to fix the problem 1.41... xD but as you guys, I like them anyway!!

u hav to realise , u2 were v.fed up with their image and thats how a.baby came about. they felt compelled to sing this through pressure shame but at the time its not suprising. Not a bad version non the less

it didnt take 3 years to record it. but no one can argue they sound like crap here

Amazing mistake

Man this was a sloppy performance. I'm a big U2 fan, but this was really sub-par. It does look like they are drunk or just very distracted/tired. There were several errors, especially when the band was watching Edge play the piano intro.

Adam had a drink and drug problem
