I don't know how they ever could. What was cutting edge then is either commonplace now or severely outdated. Technology advances at such a rate that from the time a tour starts and finishes, something new can get left behind pretty fast. It would be virtually impossible to replicate anything like it again, which is what made it so special.
As Edge said ZooTV was about taking all the different multi-media platforms ie TV, laser disk, CD palyers and putting them into one presentation. Bono was right when he said it was a look to the future as all these media standards and devices would amalgamated into one source, the internet.
FYI: This originally aired on a show called "The New Music" in Canada, on City TV/Muchmusic, early 90s. I know because I used to have this recorded on VHS!

@MegaTrainspotter This is Leg 5 of Zoo TV Tour called "Zoomerang/New Zooland) ending in Tokyo Dec. 9th. & 10th. I'm guessing this interview is done on the 11th. Dec. 1993.
@@theorthianguy Yes, def something like this. Although I'm pretty sure he's got gel in his hair (not mousse), and that would have the same effect you mentioned.
@@jasonlefler3456 Hi there. Thanks but this version isn't the one featured on this MuchMusic episode. I just wanted to hear this particular version of Ultraviolet( the one on the MuchMusic broadcast above).
@@SXI96 No, it’s just your own personal view of reality that defines it. For eg. your dock doesn’t get hard now, you are overweight and bald, and now it is not ok that you are living in your moms basement. Your life has got worse, not the worlds!
