I just got Luna for windows ealier at the beginning of this week. My daw of choice "used to be" Ableton, but what you just showed me right now makes my salavate about Luna. Great video, and you just earned a sub!!
after i select a section to loop, how do i keep the area i selected when i click to locate to a different area on the timeline? for example, I select bar 1 to 4 to loop, then i click to go to bar 2 in the timeline, the area i selected to loop goes away.
Good question! There needs to be a way to lock the looped area like other DAWs such as Studio One. I'm a beat maker, and it is frustrating having to reset the loop every time I click anywhere on the timeline...
Works for audio but does not seem to work for midi. It will loop record with midi, but wont create new versions with each loop. Am I missing some other setting? This is the same problem I have in Protools, it will loop record midi, but won't create new playlists when the loop repeats.
In the top menu click on transport then click on midi merge so it’s turned off. If it’s turned on it will have a little dot next to it. If it’s off then there will be no dot. You want no dot. Now when you loop record you will create takes instead of adding midi to each play through.
You didn't really show how to loop a section of audio. It doesn't seem to be as easy as it is in Garageband using the loop icon from the cursor as in this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OKs6G9-lAHk.html So far I'm glad I did not pay for Luna.
