UArts students outraged after school cancels townhall meeting amid abrupt closing 

The school ran out of OPM (other people's money)

As a UArts student, thank you for reporting on this. One day, I was celebrating getting a summer internship, the last three credits I needed to graduate. The next, I found out there wouldn't be a school to graduate from.

Never attended but remember seeing the students coming and going. I miss that era when it was fun being in the school/college area even if not a student. I'm a wierdo so I loved seeing the students pass me by. I would imagine myself as a student as well. It always would inspire me to dream bigger, always wondering what each student was studying and what they might become. Sometimes having a moment to be able to ask them about their dreams and being inspired by that as well. Its such a shame we are losing so many things that once offered so much hope and promise. Actually was surprised to learn that the library still exists. Will be going soon, while I can. 💔🥺👈🏿me

The people they chose to interview give the school an awful look. These students need to prepare themselves for the reality that no one cares about their art, and no, they're not entitled to anything. Getting back to the school's sudden announcement and that all this is coming so quickly means that there's a cover-up. The administration knows that money has been embezzeled which is why the school lost it's accreditation and they aren't providing any information about this situation.

OK. Where are all the famous people, very wealthy artists, who are from Philly? Maybe they didn't attend PSA, but people from Philly have to stick together. Kevin Bacon, Kevin Hart, Wil Smith, Richard Gere, Pink, Bradley Cooper, Tina Fey, Daryl Hall, John Oats, and so many others. Pony up some donations !!! Use your celebrity platform to get a big corporation to finance the school. Am I right? Or what?
