This was one of my favorites, I would play it in the car with real bass, I was in my 20's, it flooded back all the feeling to me i had 30 years ago, wow amazing ha ha.
Wow! I've always loved this song from when I first heard it in the 80s! Was completely unaware of THIS 12" version! Gonna DEFINITELY be adding it to my collection ASAP! Much love to UB40 ❤❤❤
This is one of my favourite tracks from UB40. I think that this is the best version. You get to hear all the different sections individually at some point during the recording. I especially love the reverb and echo on the horns in the dub section.
Please don’t remove this track this for me is UB40 at their best it is absolutely fantastic an takes me way back in time great song with a little bit of rubba dub in there.
This is taking me way back loved Tyler and of course Ali Campbell and astro rip pure legend the first time I seen UB40 original band members in concert was back in the 80s in my home town of Edinburgh and I was pregnant at the time but didn't know and they were brilliant and now my son is 40yrs old and loves UB40 all the classic songs and obviously like me for him it has to be Ali Campbell on vocals also loved astro with his toasting and crazy dance moves love astro and norman Hassan singing Johnny 2 bad norman with his crazy dance moves on that song and who doesn't love red red wine with astro doing his toasting on that song but this has brought back good memories of UB40 in happier times and my son has listened to them his hole life even in my woom lol thanks for putting this up
Why couldn`t continue with this kind of style? Why do some metal bands keep their style, after so many years? Take Metallica, for instance. It`s a bright and known band, but so was UB40 in their prime, let`s be honest...they had bid concerts and people loved them.
