Wow, what awesome play by both of them. I've been learning so much that I've upped my rating by almost 200 points during this tournament. Keep it coming!!!
Did you notice tha if Mochy *HAD* played that 4 1 roll correctly on roll 2 in game 5, that his next roll of 22 in roll 3 would have been perfect for him to then make his opps 4 point advanced anchor and build up his positio; so 1 error lead to a worse result with a dice roll!!!
@@wilfredv1930 Actually, it makes absolutely no difference what he does. Either way, he will leave Hideaki one more chance to get a lucky roll, and will be guaranteed to finish the bear-off the following turn.
Having listened to enough of his commentary, I can say that he does it just for esthetics. He prefers the look of having an even number of checkers on the ace-pt, if it doesn't make any difference to the equity.
@@mackenzieusher8025 Well, analyzing fancy plays I think is overanalyzing. Yet what is true is that if Hideaki had gotten the doubles, that in fact would remain as a joker-terrible-bad-play, what luckily didn't happen. Dont get me wrong I really enjoy Mochy style is brilliant. But he gave Ueda that silly minimal small percentage
@@wilfredv1930 Look at it again. How does he give Hideaki another chance? The play changes absolutely nothing. I mean, it isn't even a debate. I think you must have just overlooked something.
