Methode did beat fern she only had dirt chlose but not one injury people hype up fern to much she is strong end will become stronger in the futur but rigth now methode can beat her
Actually you could tell from the aftermath that Methode was holding her ground pretty well against Fern. Like she said, mage battles are like complex versions of rock-paper-scissors, she just happened to be a bad matchup for Fern.
