I think the winged elf in the mural was the Goddess, which has been depicted multiple times as having pointed ears. Personally I kinda think the Goddess was just some ancient Galadrield type powerful elf that elevated humanity out of the stone age or something and guided them for a few centuries before dipping. Then people just made a religion out of her.
Modern magic isn't suited for dungeon combat... because Himmel's crew cleared out most of them 80 years ago. Fern's advantages over Frieren are mana suppression and casting speed, and even powerful mages can be one-shot if taken by surprise. If the rest of the team can just keep Nega-Frieren distracted, I can see Fern sneaking behind her and sniping her before she can raise a shield.
frieren did said fern cast speed is faster than her, so with correct distraction and strategy, fern can exploit the advantage and spam fast rapid fire zoltrak at copy frieren she unable to react in time or cast counter spell in time, especially i doubt it will be 1v1
Yes, The smartest strategy would be to put Frieren against the replica in a 1v1 to even the odds, and then utilize the other mages to tilt the balance in your favor. As the other test proctor emphasized at the start of the ep: this test isn't solely about strength, but rather about teamwork and the ability to think and plan calmly to secure victory. edit: Also if you compare this with the first test, teamwork was involved in both but in the first one it wasn't a requirement (you could win alone as long as you have some kind of way to restraint the bird) but I notice that they put the test takers in two different environments: the first was in the opening and this one inside a dungeon. In both tests there were some mages that found themselves in disadvantages with their magic, for example the two mages in this ep with no suitable magic for dungeons.

Does she not want to be here anymore or is she looking for her ideal exit? But yeah, I really had to hold back last ep when Sense entered the dungeon with them and one of you commented she was affecting the exam just by being present. And that was before she even talked to Fern lol

Whats up with these "stopping her using mimic" ideas.? Since the clone doesn't have a mind it would not go out its way to check a chest/mimic whether if there's a grimoire in it. Also if it does that, it'll just finish off the mimic using offensive spell.

17:00 Commercials... I haven't had cable TV in probably 15 to 20 years. I put a full-sized outside TV antennae in my attic. I use it probably three times a year: the Rose Parade, the Super Bowl, and probably one more time I can't remember. I have Amazon Prime for shipping and almost never watch any video on it so I'll never pay for the un-downgrade to go back to no commercials. I will NEVER pay for ANYTHING that also forces me to watch ads. I CONSUME PRODUCT. I AM NOT THE PRODUCT, especially if I have to PAY to be the product. I would rather "sail the seven seas" than submit to that.
It costs money to make stuff... Want more stuff, gotta be willing to either pay for it... or watch ads for it. Even if you cut Executive pay by 80% at a studio, you couldn't afford to make 2 movies or a season of TV off the savings there. Subscription fees aren't enough for streaming the way people like it. Ads are gonna be coming to all services one day, even when you pay membership (look at Prime like you mentioned). It's just like how ad blockers hurt RU-vidrs that rely on AdSense revenue. I struggle with my own consumption methods sometimes, but as a business minded person (I even went to business school) I see things differently than many entertainment consumers. It's a weird place to be.
