hey bro Thank you so much for this video I really liked the information and everything you told about ubereats, Im also stressing with job and I wanna ask that if I start ubereats should I take it as my primary job if it can pay me more on an hourly basis compared to dominos or coles or other companies?
Hi Bro, glad that you liked this video and it helped you to get some info. Before I go ahead and answer your query, I request you to go through other videos as well and drop a like and comment, if it helps you. It depends on what your priorities are. If you want flexibility interns of your availability and want to be your own boss, then food delivery is a good option. But, job at Coles or Domino’s can’t be compared. In coles and other supermarkets, you get approximately 150% of your base salary. Suppose on weekdays your salary is $25 per hours, then on weekend evenings, you will be getting $25x1.5 per hour and on public holidays you would get twice of your base salary. Another point to be noted is that even if you don’t get orders on ubereats, you are still at work and your online time keeps on adding up. But, if you work at supermarkets or restaurants, then you will be getting paid no matter how much work you do. I hope it clears your doubt. In case you have any other query, feel free to drop me comment, and I would try to answer it asap 😇
If you are using UberEats driver app, kindly check whether it is updated or not. If already updated, contact UberEats through chat service provided in the application. They will reset it for you !
Hi, Yes the app shows that how many hours you were online/ready for accepting deliver orders or doing delivery. Generally, until now the immigration department might not be monitoring every individual’s Uber or DoorDash account for checking the hours they have worked but if an unusual salary based amount gets credited into their account, then might come under scrutiny. In this situation they will definitely check your delivery account details.
So, as per visa conditions, if you are allowed to work 24 hours per week or 48 hours per fortnight, then exceeding that time limit is illegal and if caught, you might be deported.
Thanks for your suggestion bro. Even I thought of doing the same. But, the only issue I faced was my driving licence. I never got an opportunity to get a four wheeler driving licence back in India. And, driving licence system here in Melbourne is completely different. So, doing Uber in a car was impossible for me. Not getting a licence in India was my biggest mistake and I have already paid the price for it.😬
@@the2hitchhiker oh ok by the way can I drive car in Australia with my normal Indian 4 wheeler driving licence ? Because I don't have a international driving licence?
@@abdulkhadershaker7893 yes but only for 6 months starting from your arrival date. Those 6 months are given to convert your Indian license to Aus one.
if I use 2 apps at the same time,I can't carry 2 different bags. So can i use any of the bags ubereats/doordash to deliver food? like food is ordered by ubereats and I am using doordash's bag.
Hi Sabbir, There is no legal requirement of carrying food in designated company’s thermal bag. You can carry food based on Ubereats platform in your doordash bag, even if you are using 2 apps or single app.
Can we be active on uber eats and doordash at the same time will my working hrs be added seperately from each app? Like i do 17 hrs a week on each app will be counted as 17hrs or 17 plus 17 34 hrs worked a week?
Bro, your working hours on delivery apps are counted on the basis of you being in online on app ready to take orders. So, if you are an active 17 hrs on ubereats n 17 hours on door dash then it is connoted as 17+17 =34 hours. So, if u r a student then make sure you remain online 24 weekly or 48hours fort nightly! I hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, you can ask me here!!
can we use both apps together at the same time and time will be counted same?? like are we not exceeding the limit as it will show 24 hours on both the app
Use can use both the apps simultaneously but the visa condition of 24hrs will be counted by adding all the delivery app online hours together. So, make sure the total online hours including all the apps should not exceed 24 hrs per week. And, the delivery hours and online hours are different. Delivery time is calculated as total number of hours/ minutes you spent between accepting the order and delivering it to the customer and it is basically lesser than online hours. And, working hours are counted as online hours and not as delivery hours. I hope I clarified your doubt 😊
Bro, ubereats car se you can make between 20-30 per hours in normal times and during promotional period you can make more. The earning doesn’t depend much on whether you are doing it on bicycle, motorcycle or in a car. It depends on which area you are delivering in, at what time you’re doing it. People in cities claim be earning more. But, what I have mentioned above as an earning is during peak delivery times such as lunch time, dinner time and in suburbs of Melbourne. I hope it might help you. You can reach me if you need more clarification. Best of luck 👍
Bhai mai Zomato me food delivery karta hu mujhe Australia aana he as a student nhi aana or sponsor visa se bhi nhi aana (To kya mujhe non sponsor visa mil sakta he)
Hi bro, Difficult situation ye h ki work visa agar mil bhi gaya to job Milna is quite difficult. Maximum log jo yaha sirf work k liye aate h wo company k taraf se aate h. AAP ye try kijiye ki agar aapke company ka office h wo us route se aap try kijiye, it will be better option.
Thanks for the suggestion 😊. I know it is illegal to ride on the footpath. But, some footpaths are shared path as well and I made it sure that I am not violating rules.
In Ubereats you can’t get the bag and the kits immediately, you have to order the bag and pay for it. If you want that kit free of cost then you have to do few deliveries and then Ubereats will send you notification bag you can now apply for the bag. But, on doordash you get the bag just after registration on it.
