I mean...if you're gonna use someone as an uber, help them at least like burning plant, recharge them when needed, use deep call to scare the crab, etc. and most importantly is to stay alert when you got split and when uber offer to hold your hand
I take turns ubering all realms with a person daily, and at this point we memorized when we need to do deep calls or hold hands- But also try avoiding cut scenes helps, and the person who loads faster should be leading when you have some cutscenes that disconnect (in my experience sometimes I disconnect hands when the Uber loads after me)
I just prefer to jump to random friends who do cr saying "coint me dead if we will ever split", so i can go afk for some moments and they need not wait for me if we unhold
Honestly whenever I get ubered I always keep my sound on so if they spam honk, I can actually respond back even if I am afk most of the time. Like I'm not bothered if they're afk, but it couldn't hurt to just have your volume up a bit to hear my pleading honks tho.
Lol it's ok. Nothing wrong with just not wanting to have ur volume up or if you can't at the moment. But yeah you should really make a "ubered" video like u mentioned in the other comments. I think that'd be pretty hilarious XD.
As an uber myself i think that forest is one of the best realms to uber tho, you just have to pay attention to crabs and to avoid every place that gives a cutscene My batteries only leave my hand at the beginning when it starts raining and in the temple
I only go on candle runs for the people doing them, not the candles. If it was the candles I would’ve just gone on my own and got it done much faster and save the Uber their 3 hours.
Whenever someone ubered in a candle run and i tagged along, My talkative personality just starts 😭🖐 i didn’t even consider if they wanted to talk or not ._.

@@yushaskyarabic heres a funny story. So me J and G are cr in vault and as were going to glitch in the 4 player door G fell asleep and also let go while outside of the walls. We waited for more than an hour for G and it was like 4 am for me so i was sleepy so i fell asleep while waiting so J had to wait for 2 more hours for me. I woke up and J was still there! G had already woken up while i was asleep though so they went off. But J was still there! God i feel so bad I'm so so sorry J
Mm.. I'm both the uber and passenger, but when I'm passenger I check every now and then to make sure I help with the task/quest/door. As an uber I made sure my route skips as much of the cutscenes that makes people unhold in a cutscene. I use chibi mask...
I'm mostly a passenger, and I'm the type of person who doesn't want anyone to be angry with me so I just watch everything, immediately hold their hand, deep call, help them burn plants or open doors. In the end I will always give them a heart, if they don't accept it, I'll just give them one in the constellation :D
I’m a moth and there’s this player I’m friends with that always ask me to tag along with them when she goes on candle runs- I think they like it because I constantly do the call thing that makes their wings come back and when we go through portals I automatically grab their hand. Honestly I thought we were just flying around until I realized they kept going to candle to candle. Now I have a ton of candles that idk what to do withhh. Ty for listening to my Ted talk.

Lol uve captured this perfectly, as an Uber I’ve learnt my lessons and trained in the art of crab dodging whilst avoiding all cutscenes that break hands. Bringing an instrument for entertainment while they’re afk is so trueeee. Once I’ve met a battery packet that was afk in waste and the crab hit her, and she was just dying in the oil for 30 mins while I had to recharge her so she wouldn’t lose stars. Sad life
Sometimes wish there was a “take my freaking hand” mechanic. Like, after 10-20secs of not accepting the hand and no movement from the other person it’ll just auto grab the hand

I once fell asleep while being carried through multiple worlds I felt so bad afterwards, so I gave them hearts in return. I never let it happen again 😅
I’ve only been unbered once and it was thru Eden and they were like “man it took 7 minutes” and I was like that was super quick hhggggggg and I thanked them like 10 times cuz hgggggg and they apologized cuz I got hit once and I just ✨💕✨✨💕💕✨💕💕✨💕💕💕💕UBERS HAVE ALL MY LOVE AND SUPPORT
@TheSevenSouls I know this comment was 4 months ago, and that you’re probably not the person I know but- you sound a lot like this player with fire prophet pants and lightseekers cape who friended me and took me through Eden with the wall glitch next to the door of the second area. I was dressed as a full moth, but I had my 10th wing at that time too, even while this person helped me. I’m pretty sure they’re Japanese and I still have them, but if it is you, it would be crazy to found out you are here watching this video too hahhahaha.
I was a solo runner before cuz I felt like carrying even one person felt soooo heavy. Now that I've become a CR uber, I carrying 7 people with me is something I don't mind. But please passengers, help your ubers by knocking down crabs and burning plants 🗿
U know, there is this button on top of people's head. Yeah exactly, I'm an hyperactive moth. I grab hand by myself😎and my uber give their hand for some time before realizing I already grabbed it. Also I deep call, I help burn tree, I watch out for wax, I play music they like but most of all, I buff them with spell. Anti gravity and quick recharge. 😌

Wait people do that?? Usually I'm the one being anxious hoping that the person guiding me isn't bored of me so I try to help burn the plants, honk when I grab light children to let them know I got them, or bow to them everytime I have the chance as thank you. Can't thank the ubers enough who take their time out of their day to help out to inexperienced players- very underrated.
oshit also. i used to uber wl runs and i swear i was always so nervous sksjdks i remember ubering someone who deadass let go of my hand to catch a wing in forest because i was getting another one first and they thought i missed it lolol they- they broke my usual route

I used to get cr Ubers late at night cause I could never find them during the day, and I usually fall asleep around valley, and one time I fell asleep at the beginning of sunny forest and the first discord message I got was, "I know you might be busy but if you don't come back we'll continue in 5 minutes" or something like that. A bit after I got a discord message saying "It's been 20 minutes I'm sorry" and I felt horrible. And now after every cr I get I give my Uber a heart

As a cr uber, it's so annoying whenever I offer one person my uber services and then they'll bring two more ppl with them. Like bruh. It's frustrating enough when one person gets server split, now I gotta wait for three? Come on. Or when the passengers CONSTANTLY keep chatting and the text fills up my screen. Bro I cant see crap how do you expect to cr
I go afk sometimes but not that much and usually it’s because I’m doing something that will not last long, and if I need to do something long like shower I just leave the game and tell them :/ I also uber sometimes but the people are not like this lol

Things to keep in mind while being ubered! 1) Try to keep the screen visible or have sound on so you can hear/see if they need you to do something or you separated hands 2) Help them with plants and stuff, dont just wait for them to do everything (especially for this big boi plants) 3) Show your thanks! Whether its just saying thank you, doing an emote, or giving them a heart, its always nice to give them stuff because of how much they helped you!
Omg I would never do this! When I'm a passenger I am always playing actively like deep calls, answering messages and opening doors... I- I cant imagine doing this 😔
I feel you I’m 90% uber so I sometimes get through this stuff but I’m too much of a kind soul to just leave the passenger I hate when I’m with like 3 people if 1 is afk I wait everyone would keep honking in my ears and tell me to just leave them I just feel sad 😢 I don’t know why I’m like this 😔 😔 😔
i mostly candle run alone or uber friends, but the one time i asked for one so i could see the usual gw route (normally skipped it entirely) they hung out with me a little bit at the end and said i was really good at burning plants and it for some reason absolutely made my day
Actually, this just increases my annoyance at how often our handhold is forcibly broken by the game!! LOL I actually dropped a friend in the krill pit while I was ubering him one day. I think we got hit by the krill, separated, and he'd fallen asleep while I flew. So he was there in the wide open krill pit for hours. When he woke up and went back to his game, he was empty of "winged light". I felt so bad. LOL

Can't fathom the agitation but you are kind and patient. I've never ubered people that go afk THIS MUCH and I hope it stays that way 🤞🏼. I uber daily and mostly from isle (since there is a cake in the cave and I JUST CANNOT miss it) to vault because I have to do the whole cr, just have to. I keep the passanger limit to 1 (I ubered 7 people twice and there is NO WAY I'm doing it the third time) so that they can talk openly because being an introvert, I understand the struggle. Main reason for me to uber is I get bored easily and I need someone to interact with and most of the times, they don't. 🤧 I don't mind if they go afk for a while but I can't uber all realms whithout them saying anything. ☹️
I have a friend I named Onuti, they Uber me around often and lastnight took me through eden 🥺 it was so beautiful. I feel so bad when we disconnect, or get caught in cutscenes because of me, but they always hop right back to it. 😭 I can't thank you Ubers enough.
I always feel too bad to go afk with them, or try leaving to do my own thing, so I just end up staying with them my whole session that day. Once I had to leave for the human function of expelling waste, and I was so relieved to see we were at a 3-person activity when I got back-

I relate to this abit...too much xD Before I started working, I used to uber ppl from the official sky discord during my free time. Gonna agree having ur passengers afk in forest n wasteland is the worse case scenario ever. Some even use the Uber like well...as the name suggest a legit uber when u can call forth anytime the person wants or like in the video tagging along when the person does cr. Prolly should say luckily I uber only friends now, phew.
As a ikemen, I get treated like a Uber most the time by random strangers and 'friends'. Had one friend lie to me, saying she needed stars/wings in GW, only to hear "oh I did all this already" turned out she just wanted a free AFK Uber for CANDLES for the new dress item then, wanted me to burn the tree in graveyard myself, so she could collect the light. I left her stranded in the middle of graveyard 🙂
This is why i mostly only uber for my friends and friends ive met in game. Unlock warp with everyone and make sure to let them know i dont mind anyone tagging along while im running so there's no awkward questions like "can i come" I much prefer it if they just hold hand/ warp immediately 😅😌
oh, normally you can skip the cutscene at the area before you go the the bridges. And you can wait right before the end of the bridge before the cutscene splits you to finish recharging then fly out in the rain, takes about 6-8 flaps to get to the door without the umbrella. And for the crab cave, I actually recommend deep calling as you burn the plant at the entrance to knock out the crabs so you don't get head butted by them. Would be great if the person you are ubering has an umbrella so you don't have to worry about getting drained by the rain ;-;
I honestly feel bad when my friend leads and while playing I fall asleep because of the music. My friends know I've fallen asleep when I no longer respond and then in the morning I apologize and give them a heart
I was doing the same thing when i was a moth but I just wanted friends because it wasn't fun being alone:( Now I don't really care, nobody's tping to me anymore.
