Ubiquiti Camera Wi-Fi Adoption Process 

This has become one of my favorite channels just to hear Paul's reactions...

If you haven't already gone poking around; Under the Unifi Network controller software on your UDM Pro SE, the WiFI auto-association for UniFi devices can be disabled. Under settings (gear icon under Unifi Network), then System, then the Advanced Tab, then at the bottom "New WiFi Device Auto-Link" and uncheck it to prevent it from automatically associating unifi devices to your wifi network. Now i'm unsure if that disables the hidden SSID for them or not as I haven't checked that via Wireshark, but I just did it for security reasons.

They also communicate via bluetooth in the newer Ap's initially.

Always interesting to see what's really going on when these things are introduced to a network. It may look like magic to the average punter but it always has to boil down to packets "on the wire", so to speak.

Nice video, here in the UK 2.4Ghz is saturated, and few people use 5Ghz due to most people following factory default settings. God bless.

I wonder if we can trick the Ubiquiti "dream machine" just by packet replay and mix up the mac address?

Paul, what are your initial thoughts about Ubiquity? I use a cloud key gen 2 which can also record cameras and uxg-lite firewall at home.

Love when hardware does some funky stuff just to send some mjpeg to the screen and also yells at you.
