I downloaded it and it is actually so fun. I like how it has maps from different games. Domination and escort are my favorite game modes. Domination on pueblita (Far Cry 6, another great game) is especially fun.
It tracks for a lot of companies. Iirc Activision is worse with it unless I’m getting companies mixed up. Release with no DLC or mtx for a while until review come out then BOOM.
Actually ubisoft is the gaming company that has given me the most free stuff. I got AC unity, syndicate, farcry 3, And r6. For free during "free weekends" and random giveaway notices in opera gx. Old ass games but I never played them and it was actually really fun. (ac syndicate was a war crime tho)
@@cloppin I havent tried it yet, Just received my Acer Predator Helios yesterday, so im still installing things and messing about with other stuff. Will try it in a couple of hours tho
@@NoHeros247 Never play a video game ever again, you allow parasites to poison them at every turn and without people like you EA and Ubisoft would not exist.
@@NoHeros247 where to start... the premise of "microtransactions was".... so devs got more money or some bull shit to pay them for working harder. IN REALITY it just to fund CEO an investor pockets... So unlike the idiot Proodjuice no its not about being broke thats a shill/whales argument. Microtransactions allow for companies to put overpriced garbage not worth the money they ask for while an intern does the work an then someone else will polish it. All it does is pull away from actual gameplay development. Look at EA Starwars Battlefront how nasty those "micros" got or the fact people think its a good idea to pay 25-50$ FOR A SINGLE ITEM thats almost a full game price..... its bad faith
@@GamingKingsUKWell that's on Snoy, Arrowhead and the community have presented a strong case against PSN accounts. Dunno why limiting sale seems like a profitable move to Snoy but I'm not an employee there so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Helldivers 2 said in the description *day one* that a PSN account would be required, it was dumb from both Arrowhead and Sony but the players are the only one's at real fault for not taking 5 minutes to read.
well yeah just like every other free to play game they gotta make money somehow, and everything in the store and bp is just cosmetic and the free weapon you get from the bp is garbage anyways so
I would rather have loot boxes then battle passes I would rather kill my damn self then see a damn 10 to 20 dollarbucks of a battle pass a boltok round seems nice
@@6laka. Mfs is literally the definition of stupid 💀 Even though I hate Ubisoft and all, I still would play this over MW3 *cough cough* 7 hour campaign *cough cough* 70$ *cough cough*
The reason why this game is good is because of the devs. These devs were the same people who made the best COD games. Mark Ruban is the creator of this game. He has listened to the fans and delivered something we can all enjoy. Thanks to him we have something great.
@@300ape that's your opinion man. XDefiant has scratched an itch for me that no other recent COD game has done. Everything after BO3 has been very hit or miss and there's been a lot more misses. The dev team for XDefiant is passionate about their game and is listening.
I couldn’t even open the launcher the other day to download the game: as I was doing this my friends on discord kept saying they were getting kicked out of the servers and games 💀
It's kinda funny this was already announced to be in development when they pumped the prices for everything and the fact that xdefiant is still free to play and they never thought of making it paid
Nah. Microtransactions = Microtransactions. Free to Play could be entirely funded with ads, or it could be free because it's some guy's hobby project, never intended to make profit. Some sort of monetization strategy is almost a must, especially if the game runs through a server somewhere. Those are pricy. The question is, how predatory is the strategy.
That you can completely ignore and never spend a dime on and enjoy the game the exact same way. Really just an empty critique. It has to make money, free to play with paid cosmetics is as charitable as a gaming company will ever be.
For honor is a W for Ubisoft too. Every new character that comes out is able to be unlocked thru in game credits you earn with gameplay. They've kept updating 7 or 8 years and going!
Apparently the main director of this project was the same guy who directed some of the best CoD games back in the day, so makes sense this game has more guidance and is actually somewhat in touch with the casual FPS community
