Nah,they literally rake in hundreds of millions by selling their mediocre/reskinned games. As a business why would they risk or put in the effort to change up the formula when the consumer keeps buying. If it aint broke dont fix it is still the motto they go by
@@Woodland_PopeAbsolutely have to agree with that. But starting with Ac red Im out. Not buying it unless the price drops below 40% or something. Issue is it wont change anything if only I refuse to buy it.
@@fortniteballer90s I can respect that honestly. With the quality(relative to their time) of games decreasing and the prices going beyond 80$ for stuff that should be in the regular version of the game thats understandable.
True, but I don’t believe Ubisoft had gone to the dark side by that point in time. They hadn’t even made Assassin’s Creed 2 yet. Either way, it was truly prophetic.
@@jacobfraser1097 Man, I miss that era of AC. Yes, the combat was slow and easy compared to current games, but the exploration and story lines were so fun. Quality over quantity.
That's funny, I imagine they meant it as a reference to AC, they probably didn't want to insult Ubisoft but used it as a reference to their game about money and grand larceny
@@drewbydoobydoo2918true, it was a historical marvel. There are too many hardcore gamers who ruined the game because they complain about the gameplay. When it was less of a brainless smash and bash game and more of a exploring past historical places, uncovering secrets and parcour. @HateIncarnate what you mean? They literally streamed the gameplay. Still, I won't be buying it. I'm thinking about getting Star Wars Outlaws.... because I love Star Wars. But it's from Ubisoft and that makes me sad. We haven't had an open world Star Wars game but leave it to Ubisoft to ruin it somehow.
@@ralfdsouza-ko7dy No just based on what I saw in the clone wars show from 2008, the b-x droids were very impressive and they already have a 'moveset' that the devs could have based themselves on (mainly from bf2)
Stealth Gameplay should never be an added to a none stealth game in my opinion. Because stealth goes from brilliant in a dedicated game to annoying when it’s a side activity, really fast.
This true especially the Star Wars one, nobody cares about her character, we should have just created our own character or go with the mandorian or something
A game where you play as a Mandalorian bounty hunter where you can either do a main story or take randomly generated bounty quests would go hard (Edit: To those saying there already is one, I mean a newer one with updated mechanics and graphics)
@@gamingforever9121 You can't customize your character in Bounty Hunter. There aren't randomly generated bounty quests either, just a handful of preset bounties you can find throughout each level.
There's a blurry line between inspired by and ripping off. Most of the time, the only difference is if people like it, they call it one. And if they don't like it, they call it the other. Intention rarely matters.
@@HahahMamaman bro this literally makes 0 sense A. The assassination attacks are almost completely different from assassins creed B. The combat is nothing like either of those games unless you wanna count parrying but literally almost any game that deals with swords has that mechanic it’s not unique C. There are multiple different mechanics that completely dispel any comparison from both for honor and assassins creed such as Ghost mode or stances. A better comparison would be Ghost and sekiro or even some of the from software games

Haven’t played Spider-Man 2 but in Spider-Man 1 I actually enjoyed them a lot. But only because I refused to use any of the tools given to me like how you’d turn on a fan to distract an enemy, and go through without interacting with anything. Yes it was possible in the first Spider-Man. Yes I had to glitch out some encounters to make it work. And it was a lot of fun
@@ShadmehR_23 Plus there are no mechanics. It's just green light and red light type of stuff. Later in the game I genuinely felt like shutting off the game because these sections are just garbage.

@@Somedude72 your right bro, I completely forgot ubisoft stop caring after ac4, and it's a game about historical figures, so why even say that dumbass shit.
I don't care how many people asked for it, it's an absolute travesty that the first open world star wars game doesn't let you play the jedi fantasy. Instead, we get two railroaded dark souls clones.
I actually have a dukes of hazzard game from Ubisoft on the original Xbox. It’s crazy how it is more enjoyable than skull and bones. Ubisoft has really gone downhill but their 2000-2014ish games ( just dance series, ac-ac unity, for honor, watchdogs) were peak
@@EdwardoNuttbuster For real they ruin their old games. I liked WD_2 when they made it free yhank to the Forward. Then I got WD Legion. It sucked. I also like For Honor.
Makes sense. It's a reskin of almost every other fps that came before it and they expected it to crash. If it doesn't die within the next month or two, they'll most definitely find a way to make you pay to play in a subtle way
@@sezuin_6577 Why is it being a reskin a bad thing? It is a cod like experience without having to drop 70+ dollars and 200 gb hard drive space. We should be rooting for games like this.
they just want people in the door first, give them all a nice place to be and a false sense of security and then boom. microtrans trojan horse'd into season 2 with all the bullshit. they are possibly waiting to one up COD 6 first.
Bro they basically killed ac and made it a mid rpg just to gain a new audience and it fucking works, despite the game being really, reslly bad even for their own genre people keep defending and buying
It makes sense they hold some of the top IP'S in the industry. R6 is one of the top tatical fps games. The division is one of the top looter shooters. Don't forget, just dance sells like crazy.
So u shouldn't make games for your fans. Your opinions ass. Mandolorian would have been the best option. 1. The show came out, so it's in people's minds. 2. The customization potential would have been nuts. 3. There hasn't really been a good mandolorian game

Han solo was badass. This is just dumb. You play as a human woman. I dont want to play as a woman, never wanted and never will. Could have made it where you could choose if you want to be a b**** or not. You could even have been an alien ffs! But no, woke was the choice..

Ubisoft reported record profits for the financial year and had sales worth 2.3 billion euros. I don't like their practices at all, but "allergic to money" is simply not accurate.
There's a reason why they wanna tap into the "casual gamer" market. Cuz they'll buy the same crap over and over. That's where the money is. Look at sports games, or even CoD. It's aimed primarily for the casuals. Meanwhile us real die hard enthusiasts are forgotten about.
Agreed, they get so much hate for everything while I think both actually look pretty fun overall, they might not be perfect nor worth their initial full price but like most Ubi games I'm sure they'll end up being enjoyable ways to spend time.

@waterbound7512 He was a slave made retainer, but not a samurai. We all know he's there to fill a check list and that's all most ppl will see him as even if he actually was a well written character which is a shame, however, the reason would most likely not really be racism, but how terribly out of place he is. He's not blending in with any crowd. He's literally the only recorded black dude in Japan at the time made famous for being so out of place, and if he left his post he would be hunted down, immediately bringing down any stealthy organisation around him. Ubisoft has developed their own "monetization tool" that splits players into groups by motivation and what is likely to get them to spend money. It's quite a big deal internally and they seem very proud of it. I know this because I had to attend one of their monetization seminars that lasted for 3 freakin days.
