uBitx Wire Up 

Thanks for sharing! I just ordered my uBitx and I have watched tons of videos but no one shows assembly, it is always after it is assembled. I know yours is assembled, somewhat, but you left things to where you could explain. Thanks, Juddie WD8WV

Nice job..make sure you ground the equipment to avoid oscillations and spurs when you mount it to the case ,also use coaxial cable to connect the output amp.to the antenna terminal ..could be RG 58, the small diameter is good to match impedance ....good job and 73s....de Kp4 bp...

Linux In A Nutshell? Gotta love some Linux. My mBitx should be at the house today when I get there. I'm going to try using an 8'x8'x4'' pvc junction box as my enclosure. I appreciate the "newbie" video because this is the first time I've done a project like this, so it helps to see a good basic video like this before all of the fluff of te enclosure and knobs are added. Thanks for sharing the video... with the battery pack you probably have 1 watt or two... but you need to adjust the PA with a dummy load and the power supply...

I have finished my bitx ver3 connections few days back in a similar way in My own style. Rx tested and copied most of hf stations. But problem started when tried to talk . Mic is unable to drive. In CW mode found delivering 10 watts. Tone ok. Have you done anything on Mic gain? I have used Baofeng Ext mic which the default mic locally here .

When you made your test contact, what band were you on?

Thanks for the video... I've received my uBITX and the documentation is almost worthless. What documentation or resource did you use to figure out how to wire up your radio?
